I remember going on this coaster at the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988. Looking forward to seeing your adventure of a life time . All the best to you and Charlotte. And on that note.. GET OUT THERE AND KEEP ON VLOGGING..
I live in Ilkeston and I remember finally being tall enough to go on this ride at American Adventure only for the ride to close down and never re open. Being a kid and watching your local theme park close down is a lot tougher than it sounds.
This was my first inverting rollercoaster, I still love it to this day. The park has so much potential to it, I wish looping would invest in a new thrill coaster and
I got my first ever EVAC Cred on that thing, at the American Adventure! It was always breaking down lol... same day I got stuck on the lift hill, my brother got stuck on one of the loops for a couple of hours!
Very good on POV. This Vekoma Boomerang opened at the park in 2007 and was relocated from The American Adventure Theme Park. The ride stands at 116ft tall and reaches a top speed of 47mph! keep the good videos coming on the channel.
Ah, memories of the boomerang at Pleasure Island. I don't think I'll ever forget the noise of the breaks releasing ..... interesting note the boomerang from PI is now on top of a trans studio mall in bali
Went to pwh as a child and only went back as an adult last year! It felt nice to go back, me and my gf go to all the big thrill parks but pleasurewood hills still made me enjoy my day, its not all about big thrilling rides, but yes the place definitely needs some new rides in it, there is alot of space to add new and exciting attractions and I wish they would do this.. p.s we are going to pleasurewood hills this weekend :) haha
This ride, doesn't look like much but always makes me feel quite unwell after riding it. :/ I do wish PWH would invest in getting more rides, it really hasn't grown since the 80's.
The only boomerang I've ridden. And from what I've heard of all the other ones, this is very smooth, or at least the rides I've had last summer are.
I love how at start you think it's going to be a slow nice ride but then it ramps up into an extreme roller coaster

This was the first coaster with inversions I ever went on. It will always hold a special place in my heart for that reason.

Also a zamperla frisbe to replace fureball
I was going to pleasurewood when I was 12 years old and went last year. I am now 51 years old. Shows just how long this park has been going.
Remember doing it as missile, It was terrifying
Same here at the now closed American Adventure near Ilkeston
That's the one, used to love American Adventure as I lived in Derbyshire at the time
@@buster8015 thanks, think the place got tuned into an industrial estate if I’m not mistaken great shame.
This is probably the only rollercoaster I've been on that made feel I was gonna pass out on great ride though
I Been On It A I Didn’t Pass Out On It

I saw this thing last time I was there, just looking at it made me uncomfortable. Absolutely no way I could ride this.
This never has a queue for some reason
Why did not to 🇦🇺
Only a few days to go!
