Great to finally see the video and I think the 24 Stealth is a great idea. Superburger has that coffee bar in the morning. Great review, I like the Superburger myself overall, place is so iconic to me...I miss the Streetcar that used to be attached that you could eat from and it was my childhood of stopping there with my parents. So notice that is 3 burgers places all on the same Highway I have had you go to lol. 🤗
Wow I am Canadian and these prices are nuts for something that appears to be "fast food". You know you are paying too much when there are more workers there than customers. Inflation has really gotten out of hand.
@@bigdogbulldog9912 I’ve never been there but in a town with little competition to deal with I guess you can price and squeeze as much as you want. Of course if they are really good then maybe it’s worth it. I have no idea.
for future comparison videos, I think it would be a good idea to have the ratings stay on the screen for each restaurant so we can see which food item you liked best from the two. just a suggestion so its easier for me (and maybe others) to see which one you liked best overall
I just paid 11$ for over 2 pounds of ground beef and not the cheap one and 12 buns for 1.99$ and 4$ for a bag of fries! So paying those prices is well insane! Would never go at either place cause for my family of 4 it would be over 100$ for burgers, onion rings and a coke 😂😂😂😂😂 c'mon man!
what's the point of rating the individual components of the burgers? no one's gonna go get the bun from one place and then the patty from the other lol
I was through the areas about 3-4 years ago. (I live about an hour south of the area) I'll take rings over fries always and in watching this video it seems the same thing remains. I found Superburger's onion rings to have way too much coating on them to the point that all I was tasting was the batter and not much of the onion itself.
Onion Rings over French Fries. The thinner Onion Rings (your favorite) over the thicker Onion Rings but I'd take either one and be very happy. The well seasoned Burger is my choice. Drink too much soda but it Diet Mtn Dew and A&W Zero Sugar Root Beer mostly with the occasional Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi. I'm diabetic. I HATE bird crap on the car door handle. How do they have such good aim? Safe Journey! CHOLULA!!!
When I worked in movie theaters back in the 80s, I would personally adjust the soda/syrup mix on the fountains to make sure they weren’t too watered down. I’d also adjust the popcorn oil pump to be a bit more ‘generous’ because it just seemed better and had less unpopped kernels. And maybe it was the bacon on the Champ burger that made it better as it seemed to have slightly more, which maybe made it seem saltier. Canadians must love vinegar on things because US restaurants rarely have it in to-go packets unless it’s malt vinegar from a seafood place.
I never find white vinegar offered in my part of the States. Every time I ask for some, they think I want malt vinegar. When I correct them for white vinegar. I get a deer in the headlights look. Any onion rings are good onion rings, but I favor hand breaded over frozen.
Been to both these places back when i was younger my father lived in richmond hill there was halfway or sofrom were we lived so we'd meet there on a friday night sometimes.
I live 15 minutes away in orangeville. They are actually in primrose east of Shelburne. Not that it matters. The burgers have gone down hill in the last 10 years at super burger. I believe it was new management. They were always way more busy than Champs. And better. And eating in the old ttc streetcar was awesome before they got rid of it. The burgers have also shrunk. So sad. Amd the prices are nearly double what they were before
Ive been out the youtube watching game for a while so im watching the first video of yours for a long time. Excellent to see you've still got rusty. Brilliant video ken. Love the comparisons even if its places I'll never try. Id love to try steak on a bun 😂 sounds so simple but whats not to love?
Love vinegar with fries! Same with the salt and vinegar chips. Have to try the onion rings. On the east coast beachs in America, we have boardwalk fries that only offer vinegar, no ketchup
I stopped drinking any kind sodas for over 2 months now. I will drink one maybe once a month but I don't miss it. I either drink water or tea but mostly water.
Sugary drinks is definitely my weakpoint. Even since i was a kid (90s kid!). Soda, sports drinks, and juices are an everday thing for me. I can cut other stuff out but i need my sugar drinks haha. Dont drink coffee and rarely drink alcohol though.
Hand made or home made onion rings can be better than most... as long as they are seasoned right....usually they wont be the crispy frozen style in terms of mouth feel or crunch ever because of being light coating and quick frying where as most hand made onion rings are slowly cooked in a fryer let to sit then WAPPED in a very high heat..... it can and cannot work... depending on your batter...
@@mnews2270 In N Out is hands down the best fast food burger in the West Coast, you must have never tried, or you are too addicted to McDonalds. I agree on Five Guys but they are cheaper than these places.
Never heard of frings. Thinking of American simple minded mentality I’m assuming it’s a mixture of fries and onion rings. (No doubt something as gormless as that originated in the states.) Get you aren’t American or in the States, but you know what I mean. 😂 None of it was a fair test either because you was putting the same salt and vinegar on both and both of those can be different too.
I didnt know you guys in Canada call soda as pop I'm guessing thats mainly an east coast (in the US) & Canada thing unless some peope call it "soda pop"
In regards to soft drinks and juices, I only rarely consume the sugary kind and usually drink stevia and "zero" products. In the summer I make my own iced tea with stevia, sometimes with concentrated true lemon and/or true lime powder, which are convenient.
they definitely seem neck and neck by comparison, i'd easily go for either of those. Superburger has the edge in value, but Champ Burger seems to deliver more consistency.

STEALTH CAMP! Yes please! 🤘
I find myself going to Superburger more often because it's a bit better priced, but I love Champ's Greek Burger and their Souvlaki on a pita.
Wow I am Canadian and these prices are nuts for something that appears to be "fast food". You know you are paying too much when there are more workers there than customers. Inflation has really gotten out of hand.
They were always expensive, its the overhead and inflation
It appears Canada food is getting slammed by inflation worse than the US. WOW expensive
Yup, and it's only gonna get worse, unfortunately...
@@mreppen1 these 2 places were always expensive, 50 bucks for 2 burger combos 😬😬😬

Medium Pepsi! 🤣
Glad you liked it :D
Way to expensive, no way . I could get a steak dinner for that price
Steak dinner for $20? Yikes, I wouldn’t want that dinner.
Whats the medium pepsi story?
For the cost those both look like sub par burgers
Who hates eating a burger with bird crap on your fingers? Not me. I scruba dub dub all my little pinkies before ever touching my delicious burger.
lol
It was fluff from a Dandelion
That Aw SH!T from Ken seemed kinda personal
The past food reviews much fun than this everything is changing
The Mac and cheese bites are the best 🤤🤤🤤
Shout-out to Super Burger keeping the kaiser roll as their standard. One of the best buns that most places don't use any more

Ken, Do the 24 hr stealth at both places. That would be entertaining with the variety of menu items. 😅🎉

Whose
They both look good. I like vinegar for fish and fries. That nasty little bird nailed rusty 😂.
Nasty little birdies lol
that bird had some FOUL aim. lol
not only prices have zoomed up. but it has to do with management training etc.
so overpriced
I always like a good accordion fry, but those onion rings. Both of them look delicious.
I prefer the malt vinigar on mine....I lived in England for 3 years ( military) now retired in south georgia.
Great video! I guess you could do a la carte. Champ burger and onion rings, Superburger fries and soda! LOL
I quit pop 40 years ago. Just do water at fast food places. Too bad they don’t have beer in either place.
Champ burger has lots of beer choices

i think you have to give the winner to Superburger due to it being over 5 dollars less. That's a significant different in price.
