Interesting history of the Tropicana. You probably know my Dad was Comptroller for the Tropicana after the gangster days, I think mid 70’s before he left for the Hotel Del Coronado. I’m going to look up those old movies you mentioned! thanks Mark
The A's are in Sacramento in a minor league park. The move to Vegas is contingent on funding to finish the stadium there. (it's not in place just yet.) Stay tuned! Hopefully it gets finished, it would suck to see a vacant unused lot there. :)
The whole funding situation will eventually be solved. Too much money is at stake. Too many important stakeholders are involved. We're not Oakland or Atlantic City.
wow hope you get to catch a game there - thanks for all the interesting info about the old las vegas - makes for a great story - you are good at this - have a great day
Oh I lost the video I was watching from you. I'll comment here instead and say thanks for the TV series recommendations. I like the same kind of TV as you.
T Mobile is connected to New York New York and Park MGM. We consider it on the Strip as opposed to downtown or in the suburbs like Summerlin or Hendersond.
What a waste of prime real estate! A ballpark is a single use venue, only good for playing base ball! People DON"T go to 'Vegas to watch base ball!! WTF????
Maybe so, but I would bet on it being a success. 81 home games a year. Concerts and other shows. People didn't think the Raiders Stadium wouldn't make it, but it is the highest grossing venue in the world last year. Mark Davis for the Raiders is laughing all the way to the bank. We will see on the Baseball stadium. Plus they are going to build a hotel there too connected to the ballpark.
Thanks for watching!
Good Job and GREAT atory Telling. Cant wait to meet you and head out for dinner

Glad you enjoyed it
The Aladdin, the Stardust, and probably even Binion's arguably had more notorious histories than the Tropicana ever did.
