There are infinitely many stroke shapes that don't look like the letter A. Just because we get an infinite variation of strokes over an infinite amount of time doesn't mean any of them will form the letter A. And forming more complex language elements is harder. It'll require some really interesting and difficult reasoning to justify that it'll write "every book" someday.

If you put a dim light on it it might look better when using long exposure.
It could reveal 'dark spots' where the double pendulum never hits, and if that was true it certainly would be very interesting :D

i have mini 10mm bearings and a 3d printer.. so mini pendulus might be possable?
Yes, but the smaller you make it, the faster everything will happen. So the LED will move faster and probably not glow as bright. It would still be awesome though! And you could possibly just use glow in the dark filament for the backing
I have a whole crap ton of mini 10 and 11mm bearings since you can't seem to buy only a couple at a time. I have to put them to use some time or another.
