The bottom line with the hoops kid, is when a player doesn't want to play for you or is unsure, then we shouldn't be concerned when he leaves. That's why I love the way Schiano recruits his kids. Only interested in players who 100% want to play for RU.

What about Derek Zammit? Does this effect rutgers chances with him? Zammit seems to be a consensus top qb and wouldnt want to miss out
They got their quarterback this cycle, they are done.
@@RutgersFootball1 why would that be the case? Zammit is much more highly regarded and from NJ. Not that I expect that he would pick RU, but why would they not continue to recruit him?
Certainly Sidwar got a load of offers, so he is probably much better than his current ranking. Your discussion also makes him seem much better than ranking (and all of this assumes that the rankings are at all accurate).
So they will tell Zammit to look somewhere else? That makes no sense.
