This one came out of nowhere.. had a quick play myself + it seemed fairly intuitive off the bat.. super quick to get a beat going.. plenty to tweak.. I’m curious to see how DawnBeat grows.. thanks for the quick demo + chance to win the IAP..

I can’t see how it is as I’m sure it would have been mentioned. A word of warning, beware the ‘granulizer’ it absolutely blew the hell out of my ears! Then crashed

Had to buy this cause ui no retreats after messing with it
A new Samples…always welcome. A couple of good things (browser for Files is interesting, with the files contained in a folder visible and previewable directly inside the app), a couple of obvious missing (connectivity, “double” functionality), a couple of mistakes (is it only me or the first beat always record at the end of the pattern?) and a couple of missed opportunities (Memorizer: very nice…such a pity you can’t refresh it …or that it records both the “live” pads playing and the sequencer played notes, even showing them with different colors, but then it doesn’t allow you which ones to paste to a new sequence)

@@SonicVibe double a pattern with its content. As it is now, you can only change bar lenght (and after you have to copy the notes into the new empty bar) or set bar lenght which stretches the notes on the new number of bars (which, by the way it’s a cool feature). But it was just an example

@@SonicVibe lots of ways to make this app way better. We'll wait and see. In the meantime it's slick and has a quick-to-master workflow.

Where is the start/stop
On Appstore's description it reads "export movies with images and gif animation". What does it mean? Can you sequence video snippets? Thank you for the chance to win IAP.

I really wish someone could show me how the waveform editor works. I've tried messing with it but it seems like some of the buttons don't do anything and it's unclear what some are supposed to do. I can't find a manual for the app either
Manual = Menu > Help The buttons may not do anything if there’s nothing to ie: can’t Normalize if file is already max level. The other buttons require a selection usually. The buttons are Trim, Fade In, Fade Out, Normalize, Silence. They will act on the whole file or a selection.
No Auv3 ? So what do we do, a beat loop and that’s all? I don’t understand, doing all this work, putting a great app out and missing the main point…. Lol

How did you get 16 pads on a bank? Is that only available in the paid version?
I installed the iap right when I got the app so I didn't look how it looked. But I guess if you own the free version and it shows less pads - then yeah, it's another iap perk. How many pads can you see?

@@eylvy my issue is it’s not AUV3 and that’s a huge disappointment. That means your limited on just those Efx.

iPad has 32 pads in two banks 'A' and 'B', iPhone has 27 pads in 3x9 in banks 'A' 'B' 'C'

how does it compare to koala?
It'll take a bit of time to get used to it over Koala, but for now its benefits over it are some effects that are not present in koala and some sound different than the koala ones, like a more advanced filter. Not complaining, Koala has a semi-different workflow.
No portrait mode means I simply won’t use it
