Loved the series as a kid. Though, looking back on it now, I am a little either miffed or disappointed that the series only ended in 26 episodes. It should've, in my opinion, lasted at least 2 seasons. Gargoyles lasted for three and it ended pretty good.
The reason it didn't last longer was A: The Disney Afternoon wasn't much of a block anymore (first--run syndicated cartoons were on the outs) and B: ABC had gone the all E/I route with One Saturday Morning, so essentially it happened at the worst possible time.
Actually, Quack Pack- under its' original title of Duck Daze- had been in development as far back as 1993, per old issues of Broadcasting Magazine. But it's likely since both were on at the same time they would share costs.
Also because Disney put so much money into the show... that had nothing to do with the thing it was supposedly based on. Also, they were just on a weird "Ducks" kick for a while.

@@TriplomatX yeah I know right? this cool show is a part of my childhood
@@beckyann8389 mine too. Remember how much I like the show and when it was all over, it was a disappointment. Cause we'll never know what happened to Gurnard.

This show is the definitive Mighty Ducks!! Not those stupid movies!
