Thank you for wasting your film on us for this incredibly detailed video! I just got the same camera for my bday and I was wondering about the settings. I always worry about the overexposure but I feel like you’re almost always gonna waste at least one film because it’s not something you can see before you print. Really appreciate this.
I needed this so badly! I just got one w my boyfriend and i been wasting so much film just trying to figure out the setting i should be on. Thank you so much!!❤️❤️🥰
Thank you for actually showing side by side examples!!! This is exactly what I was looking for, since I keep struggling with the lighting and have become afraid of wasting film..but now I feel more comfortable on testing them out again!
This helped so much I just got me a instax mini 7+ and I've went through so much film in 2 days tryna understand 😪 the settings and what each is for but this really helped me
This video is a lifesaver! I found this camera today at Walmart on sale because of Black Friday and wanted to know how to use it! Thank you so much! Love your hair it's so beautiful 😭🥺
I just bought mine because I am interested in photography but I don’t know that much about it. I was so stressed out cause I have wasted so many films and I didn’t know what was the right setting. So, thank you!! You’re an angel 🤍
@@CheyenneBrowncmyb also quick question 😩 it’s the 4th of July and i think it would be cool to take pictures of the fireworks on my polaroid.... which setting do you think would be best to take them on? also if i want to take pictures of other things (like people, since i’ll be with friends) what do you think would be best? sorry for all the questions!! 😩❤️
@@emmasorrells7575 honestly I would try to stick to the guidelines in this vid! Brightness is one of the more important things to focus on when it comes to Polaroids so if you can prioritize that, I think it’ll help! I haven’t personally taken pics of fireworks before but since the setting will most likely be darker then you’ll probably want to use the indoor/dark setting or the cloudy/shady setting. I’m sorry I can’t be more specific, I’m learning about this camera too 😅 but I hope that helps!
This was so helpful!!! I took some photos of my dog in two settings, but she looked like a ball of fire with the dark light setting, and moved straight to grunge photos when I went to cloudy. We have yellow lights in our house so the lighting is already off, but it seems like indoor lighting can't be the house but thank you for clearing things up!!! Appreciate it
Thank you so much for this babe!! Incredibly helpful, I’ve been a bit confused on the precision of the exposure and specifically which setting I should be using for which environment I’m in! I was at a natural spring and the photo came out super dark, most details were almost completely invisible but it’s only because the setting I had it on (the lowest exposure because I was outside, I thought because I was near water and the sun was out, I would use the sunniest setting) it gave little to no exposure because there were in fact lots of trees near by and in hindsight there was lots of shade everywhere! So I definitely understand it a bit more now so hopefully I can get some better pics in the future ❤️❤️ thank you :) I enjoyed your video as well!! 💞
THANK YOU SO MUCH. i literally got my camera saturday and yesterday i wasted so much film because pictures outdoors (like bright sunny/ golden hour time of day) and they all came out so so dark. you can’t even see people same with inside a car too
Thank you so much!! Little me didn’t read the instructions and absolutely didn’t know that it had settings, and was so upset because my photos were so dark 😂❤❤

Thanks for showing examples of it now i know how to use it correctly i just recently turned the legal age to work in my state, and I never realized how expensive things can be just simply a pack of film it’s $13 and that’s after tax so thank you
Thanks for explaining. I am having a lot of trouble with 2 things….. - If I take a photo of a flower and the flower is in the middle of the viewing lens, it prints out with the flower not centered and pushed to the right. - when taking pics from far away- They still come out super black. Thanks
I have a question. If I take a picture inside with very bright light. How or with what setting is best.? I’m sooo confused I keep trying and I always waste all my films I always take a photo inside with very bright lights and when I take a picture it always turns dark and not the best. Can anyone give me advice or on what to do please.!!
What settings would I use for when I'm outside at night and there is lots of lights coming from buildings, ex: I'm trying to take a picture of the buildings at night in Times Square
Huh, I’m not sure! When it first comes out the pic is white but it should develop relatively quickly. I’ve only had my pictures stay white if I accidentally exposed the film by taking it out after I already loaded it
I have a question!! What will happen if you put in a new pack of film, with the shudder still on, yet you wish to just take out the film to save it for a different camera later? The shudder is still on the film. Will this damage the film if you took the film out and saved it inside its packaging? Will I need to put it in a dark place like a small box for the film to remain good? What should I do? :( Context: I just received a FujiFilm Instax Mini 7+, and I want to buy the FujiFilm Instax Link Printer. I assumed that the ‘Mini Film’ would not work for the Instax printer, but I was wrong :( the Instax Link Printer will most definitely work with the Mini Film that my Instax Mini 7+ came with. I want to save the film cartridge for when I get the Instax Link Printer, but I already put the film cartridge in my Mini 7+ camera! Can I still somehow save the film? If so, please help me and tell me what to do..!
Do not open the back of the mini camera when there's light. You can probably so it inside a closet under a thick blanket to prevent exposing the film. But that's just a lifehack. You could still ruin them. It's still recommended to just out in a new cartridge for the printer.

I have a question. I just got my camera today, and I saw that you were able to take pictures on your camera roll.
