    Sir I appreciate your effort. Lectures are really helpful. I would just like to give a suggestion that it would be better to explain mechanism first and then write down comparison. It will be easier to understand the difference after main mechanism and all.

    A0A sir, why do tertiary alkyls favour SN1 reaction and likewise primary favours SN2? How are these reactions related to the stability of the carbocation? What’s the factor that makes stability of carbocation undergo either SN1 or SN2 reaction. Thank you.

    50% inversion and 50% retention will occur but on the other hand partial racemization suggest there will be more inversion. how is it possible? isn't it contradiction?

      Because bond breaking and bond formation take place simultaneously, and nucleophile always attack from opposite side of leaving group
