It is the Spirit of God Who knows the mind of God, the thoughts of God. He is the One Who inspired the writers of Scripture. On the one hand for believers, He reveals spiritual truths through the Word; and on the other hand He illuminates Scripture to our hearts as we read and study the Word. He is the One Who makes Scripture come alive to us as we read.
