ToT! NOT standard threaded ends, so that standard fittings can be used! Use unconventional left handed threading, so that fittings are proprietary, and can only be sourced from you at great cost!
Michael Harris - it's your fault you ruined your phone. Tony obviously didn't use water. Might need to try with one of those water proof cases next time. J/k, lol.
I got an iPhone 5 that constantly keeps hanging up itself and freezes the screen for a minute or so. So, I'd recommend something newer to prevent you from freezing all the time and therefore maybe ruining your material for stopping the sanding process and having to start again. Also, the files that I use don't really work, takes like hours until I see some results. Did someone make experiences with these "audio files" everyone is talking about? Are they comparable to an air file? I might try these for better results. Napster does file sharing, right? I wouldn't wanna buy them and then realize they don't work as good as expected, so borrowing some would do the trick first. Ultima ratio I'd consider watergate files. They remove everything, including governments, I heard. But since I'm a beginner still, I might start with some less expensive tools...
I really enjoy the little extra things you throw in there. Cutting the aluminum with the scissors, using the sandpaper on the phone, the recoil of the air gun, the using of the calipers to zoom in. Its those little touches that really make your videos that much more enjoyable to watch.
Yeah man, the YT maker / machinist world is fuckin awesome. To the "professionals" they may seem like hacks but for the average guy like me, I look up to them. I wish I had the facilities to do a quarter of the stuff they can do, but I'm happy watching cause they are maing shit, not just talking about making shit. There's too many YT maker guys to mention, and it's effin awesome.
Your videos are some of my very favourite on RUclips! Great projects, great explanations and awesomely solid dad humor! The kick from the airgun almost had me spewing my morning oatmeal out onto my laptop! You are an absolute hero!
There's one thing that I'm sure of now, YOU are the guy that all of your friends want to hang with ! Got the skills and the humor AND the personality,........ just don't run for any kind of public office, that might mess you up in the head ! 😆 That sandpaper app would come in handy, but I think I liked it better with the texture, looks good anyway! 👍👍 Thanks for sharing and take care.
HTR, your vids have been awesome of late. The paper cutter was superb. Is there a follow up with the tool you restored for Mr Diresta? He's not mentioned / shown it yet.
Thank you! I found a hairline crack in the cylinder that was allowing air to enter and causing the drill to not run properly. I need to either fix it or find a replacement at some point. I sent Jimmy the Cutawl I restored as a thank you.
Every episode I watch of TOT makes me realize that if he wasn’t bound to the confounds of his containment unit he would literally take over the world. He’s too powerful.
A This Old Tony and Diresta colab... awesome! I love it. Both of you are my favorite people on RUclips, as well as my undeclared mentors. Keep up the amazing work. I love you both
I have really been loving your content! I binge watched all of your videos over the past few days. I have to say you are one of my favorite people on youtube for your humor, video editing skills, and wonderful use of machines. Hopefully I will be able to learn more from you in the future too!
Thanks Tony and Jimmy...looking forward to the cad and Jimmy's video(s). Interesting to bring the sketch in and trace off of it...have done it in AI and exported to acad. Would like to know more about how the port diameters and spool valve diameters were fingered, earballed or enginerded for specific flow and noise levels. Glad no one was hurt in the making of the knuckle blow gun proto and hope that sanding app doesn't get butt dialed...might be hard on the fingers and knuckles. Perhaps the final version could have a magazine of tips that ratchet into place and a slightly tapered spool valve for even more control. Always a pleasure to be able to watch class acts. ~PJ
You might've already considered this, but I'd drill a hole somewhere (maybe through the top of the shuttle) to vent that spring chamber. If the leak rate at the bottom oring is higher than the middle oring, pressure will eventually build up in the spring chamber and give you the effect you mentioned initially with the two oring design. It really doesn't make much of difference since you'll notice it right away and can just replace the seal, but coming from a paintball gun design background, that sealed spring chamber doesn't sit quite right with me.
Your editing made it look like you drilled and tapped for the inlet and nozzle, put in the valve, and air flowed through solid aluminum. I would have expected drilling those long air passages would be a challenge and wanted to see if you used any tricks to do it.
As usual, it's been a "blast" watching your video. Thanks for the laughs and the idea for a new blow off tool. Great stuff man. I do truly enjoy watching these.
Man, I am constantly impressed at your talent. Not just your crafting skills, but the unique sense of humor and comedic timing you are able to imbue in to your videos. They make for a perfect video.
Exactly why you're my favorite RUclipsr...not sure if it's the aluminum cutting scissors, the cell phone sandpaper, the caliper zoom (combined with your impressive design/machining skills) - your videos are pure awesomeness. I learn something from each one. THANKS!
Neat! I bet the x error in the CNC routering was due to a variation in the length of the stock, that'd be easy to slip by. Maybe your scissors need sharpening?
Just started watching your channel and now subscribed. You have a gift! You have the ability to give great instruction AND with a great sense of humor! I watch about 2 dozen machinist/build channels on RUclips and I think you do the best graphics and clear camera work out there. Thanks for sharing!
Your videos are always fun, but much more than that, they teach and educate. The combination of the two is what is needed in School Teachers these days. Cheers.
Lovely, Good & Nice Piece. You Tack back nature at your home and Caressing our eyes, you do in very Special Way wich is never boring. You are a very Good Teacher & You understand Art . Thank you Mr. Tony :)
I was a bit late to the ToT party but I was instantly addicted. To feed this addiction I started watching the older vids and just have to say the progression in production quality in your vids is amazing. All the while staying true to your original humor and style. Bravo!
This is awesome, its so rare to find this kind of videos where the project progress from conceptual design to working prototype. I'll sure be watching the follow up video.
So so good!!! mad love and respect ✊
Hi mate. You expected anything else? This man is good.
Marcel Timmers excellent as expected
Excellent and totally entertaining.
jimmydiresta indeed one In my life when will they be available, great idea for a collab between you both
Can I have the prototype :D I love both your channels!

Thanks a lot Tony! I downloaded the same app to save a little on abrasives, and long story short, you owe me a new phone.
Michael Harris could you provide me the Playstore link ? ;)
Michael Harris - it's your fault you ruined your phone. Tony obviously didn't use water. Might need to try with one of those water proof cases next time. J/k, lol.
virtual sand paper can be purchased thru Charmin
Works ok for me, but I found the deburring app works better on iOS...

not gonna lie... that test shot and glass noise 15:09 got me! My heart jumped!
yes ! , then i almost peed laughing hahahah
Indeed! Total LOL moment. Watched it a few times just for the pure enjoyment of it all.
i almost died laughing...
I'm late here but man I'm dying LOL 😂
I have chronic heart failure.
Hey Tony, why are your video so satisfying :) Love em
Hope he is well, maybe a Alex reach out could lift the spirits?
Tools, humor, and camera trickery...my favorites!!
I really enjoy the little extra things you throw in there. Cutting the aluminum with the scissors, using the sandpaper on the phone, the recoil of the air gun, the using of the calipers to zoom in. Its those little touches that really make your videos that much more enjoyable to watch.
This is one of those "Why is this a product already?" Ideas. So awesome! Great video too.
I laughed way too hard at the sandpaper app. Tony, you never cease to impress me!
it has wet/dry too, but don't use it unless your phone is waterproof.
ask me how I know.
This Old Tony LOL!😂😂
What could you have possibly been doing to prove that? Does oil distort it at all either?
try the belt sander app, but watch that hair trigger.. still looking for my phone after that mistake.
I watched this, and now I need to see DiRest-of it
Can you give a link? I couldn’t find it.
Did anyone find the video from diresta's channel or did I miss that one when I looked for it
Man, I love your videos, Tony! You're one of the few creators whose content is worth going back to past episodes and watching!
Seconded!
Man.....I had such a crap day at work....Came home, hopped on RUclips and found this. Life aint bad.
Hay, you are my twin ! 😀
@ 15:10 had me 😂 on a packed commute. Excellent video, fantastic tool and just the right amount of humour.
Top draw man!!
WOW, the multitalent carpenter master and the machining video virtuoso do a collaboration, this video is a dream

Holy crap. Mr Diresta and you working together using NYCNC plates? That's half my youtube faves!
Your videos are some of my very favourite on RUclips!
Great projects, great explanations and awesomely solid dad humor! The kick from the airgun almost had me spewing my morning oatmeal out onto my laptop! You are an absolute hero!

Jesus... I absolutely just love this channel. Gotta be the best channel on the tube!!!
Pure genius and very skilled craftsmanship.
Thanks RSW!
Good, positive and humorous video, thanks for sharing!
Every episode I watch of TOT makes me realize that if he wasn’t bound to the confounds of his containment unit he would literally take over the world. He’s too powerful.
The CAD workflow/tipsntricks/how to dress video would be super appreciated!
iwtommo yeah particularly the how to dress part, not sure that's covered in any other tutorials I've seen :D
Tony - Brilliant, informative, and funny, just as I have come to expect from you!
A This Old Tony and Diresta colab... awesome! I love it. Both of you are my favorite people on RUclips, as well as my undeclared mentors. Keep up the amazing work. I love you both
I don't laugh much, but when I do, it's on a This Old Tony video.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. YES!
Tony you are on point. I love your style. I can't get enough of the sans paper app and the cutting stock. Hilarious!
I find I always have a smile on my face watching your videos, well done.
I have really been loving your content! I binge watched all of your videos over the past few days. I have to say you are one of my favorite people on youtube for your humor, video editing skills, and wonderful use of machines. Hopefully I will be able to learn more from you in the future too!
I'm always shocked TOT doesn't have more followers. You really can't too his videos in content or quality.
Thanks IR!
StrainGauge: I concur. Is a travesty.

Thanks PJ!
Always enjoy your videos and the laughs you throw in. Still my favorite RUclips channel. Thank you for sharing. G W
I keep coming back for more. Thanks for another inspiring video

Both inlets meet in the passageway that the valve is in. easy peasy. Drill the inlet and outlet straight in, then drill the valve body straight down.
Robert Szasz I was wondering about that! Thanks
If you look closely, when he's about to drill out the nozzle mount you can see that he'd already drilled the air passage
It's Tony. He just smacked em with a center punch, that makes a perfect hole every time.
Alex Swavely Ah yes, got it at 7:30, not paying enough attention, I should go to the bottom of the class. Cheers. Joe.
Great episode!! Love the phone abrasives. Shout out to Jimmy too
Jim
As usual, it's been a "blast" watching your video. Thanks for the laughs and the idea for a new blow off tool. Great stuff man. I do truly enjoy watching these.
What ever happened to the air gun did it go anywhere I can't find any videos on Jimmy's Channel wanted to see follow up
The phone gag was epic.
Man, I am constantly impressed at your talent. Not just your crafting skills, but the unique sense of humor and comedic timing you are able to imbue in to your videos. They make for a perfect video.
Thanks Jose, glad you like them!
Awesome! Now that you and Jimmy have collaborated, there is no telling what awesome inventions we'll see in the near future! Great job!
Should have left the "Farthead" on the final part.
Agreed!!!
It’s pronounced far-THEED
Great work! Shouldn't there be a venting hole below the valve? Now any leakage through the lower o-ring can still build up pressure below the valve.
yes but if there is leakage in the lower o-ring what's to say the middle and upper o-rings don't leak as well? just trust the o-ring.
bump this for the final design
@@tylergarza6632 good policy in general, should be on a bumper sticker 😱
Yep, gonna need one of those. Thanks, Tony!
Exactly why you're my favorite RUclipsr...not sure if it's the aluminum cutting scissors, the cell phone sandpaper, the caliper zoom (combined with your impressive design/machining skills) - your videos are pure awesomeness. I learn something from each one. THANKS!
The dream team has been formed!
I respectfully disagree, Sfefan Goteswinter is missing here. XD
Got me laughing like a drain, as always.
McAtheist "laughing like a drain?"
Another great video. Can't wait for Jimmy's.
Your builds never fails to satisfy. Keep up the good work!
Could you please share with us the link for the sandpaper app?
And how about a file management app, too.
Those apps are too "rough" to download/install.

You were killing it with the gags in this one, Tony.. Keep up the good work.
Completely Beautiful!!! Great work to both of you!

Very cool vid, bro
I didn't notice how happy I get seeing a new TOT video until now
Just delicious as usual. THanks Tony!
15:10 i was not expecting that
He made me choke on my water
Tony, could ya post a link for that phone app. Running to the store for just the right grit is getting old. Dude you are a hoot! loved it.
did you get those clippers from Ichban Moto ?
Clippers? That is a diamond shear.
COLAB! with ichybum!
15:10 Laughed out loud
The sandpaper app is sure legit, I use it all day.
But that file, come on TOT, that is fake as a 3 bucks bill
Should've stopped while I was ahead?
We all know the file app is exclusive for Samsung Edge
Thanks for another awesome video Tony!!
One of your best videos Tony! Well done!
Very interesting build. I will be looking forward to the follow up. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! A piece of art!

OMG, the sand-phone just about knocked me over laughing. Amazing production values, as always 👍
I want one!! Thanks for the great videos. Your humor is spot on!
Awesome build and video!! Tons of info along with some good humor. 👍
Loved the phone sanding part, litrerally rolling on the floor laughing, brilliant! Just brilliant.
Can't wait for Diresta's part, been a fan of him for a long time and nice to see that he's collabing with one of my other favourites :D
Tony,
Nice work as always. Man, you just always knock it out of the park. Hope those kids are enjoying that go kart.
Tony I love your humor and your knowledge .
lol.. i flinched a bit when you finished it up and did the "kick back" gag..
Love these vids :D

Tony and Jimmy. My day is complete!
Mr Tony and Mr Diresta. Gotta love the stuff that happens on YT with all you smart maker guys.
Jimmy wanted it done right so he came to the right man. Great edit, hilarious of course, and a beautiful end product Tony. Thank you.
Thank you Tony that was both hilarious and amazing!
Everyone NEEDS one of these!!! Well, at lease I do. Awesome work guys!
Yeah - like Jimmy said, mad respect. Came out so nice T!!
Beautiful! I'm eager to see the finished product.
Absolutely brilliant TOT. Its videos like this that made me become an engineer
15:09 - Almost spit out my coffee. Thanks Old Tony!
Fantastic work. Excited to see the CAD video as well!
