A good tip from Scott Kilmer is to spray your old bushing and anything rubber like that with some ATP Automotive AT-205 Re-Seal. He said it will make them like new.
If you want to lower the car I recommend the coilovers I'm putting on. I got BFO 24-way damper coilovers with adjustable height and camber off eBay for $300. If you can still send back those struts, I would get those coilovers instead since it would end up being the same price as the stock struts you got. It would be a pain to take them off again but if you got the time and want it lowered, that's probably the way to do it.
@@92kbuilds-mn2lk I agree you'd be better off with your quality struts and lowering springs vs some cheap coilovers, in the 3g group people have had the maxspeed junk break completely in half while driving.
@@JoshuaRolen I hope so as well, though to be fair we don't exactly know what the person was doing with their car at the time. Or maybe improper install, etc. Could be a number of things.

Awesome, this will be of great help to me as I am finally getting around to replacing the front and rear suspension on my 3g Eclipse this weekend!
Make sure to catch the front end video then as well...
Nice video! Car looks good

Thing about cheap ebay and amazon coilovers is they don't last very long and there isn't much warranty with them either.

hatch shocks are not simple, it slammed on my hand and almost broke it
They are when you have someone hold the hatch up while you replace one at a time- takes like 5 minutes.
a lot of rust
I'm in the rust belt. My Durango literally rusted apart to where the rear end fell out from under it 😬
