Bro, you did a GREAT job of taking video! It's nice that you mostly kept your audio instead of playing music like many others so we can hear what you are saying and the atmosphere :) Mostly, I just liked the detail. Of all the crossing videos, this one had the most detail for every step of the way. I honestly felt like I was there with you!
Thanks Battle Sr, I’m glad you enjoyed it I myself am the same and don’t like when people just play music and you don’t get to hear the natural sounds, Which is why I do it this way. Make sure you subscribe because next year I will be bringing you along to more then 5 Bimini trips already planned for next year along with other places on the bucket list!
@@MiamiLiving305 do you need a passport to go to Bimini from Miami?
@@janelleflagg7154 Yes since you are crossing to another country
@@MiamiLiving305 okay cool bcaz some places close or owned to the U.S. don't need a passport! Puerto Rico or Virgin Islands!
@@janelleflagg7154 even this Bimini is only 50 miles away from Florida They do require it
Thank you so much for making this video. When I seen the preview I was praying you went through the main entrance of Bimini and actually filmed it. One of my greatest memories with my dad when I was just 15 years old and we took our 25-ft Wellcraft Nova and made the crossing coming out of Fort Lauderdale. I distinctly remember coming into the same entrance that you did and seeing the starfish lying on the sand under the boat coming to the inlet. I pleaded with my dad to stop so I can swim down and get it says you'll never make it it's 25 ft deep right there. It looked like it was only four foot of water. I remember like it was yesterday although it sure was nice to see it again. I'm 45 now and my dad's been gone for 6 years. Wow 30 years ago. The beautiful clear blue water of Bimini.... It's on my bucket list! I've got a 30-ft Sea Ray Sundancer and hopefully one day I'll get to go back. Again thank you for the video you just don't know how much it meant to me to be able to see the place again.
Wow that means a lot that my video go take you back to that special moment. Maybe one day we can cross together, but thank you for the heart warming comment
Awesome story!

You can take your dad this time in memory I’m sure he’ll love it’s also on my bucket list for many years…Godspeed buddy🙏🏻🙌🏼😎

Unsafe ... boating alone always wear a lifejacket and kill switch
We’ve all done it a time or two his is just on camera 🤷🏿♂️ he survived this time … no biggie… until 👀 nvm
yup your right
And leave a 50’-100’ rope hanging off the back. If you fall overboard the wind can blow your boat away faster than you can swim.
He wasn’t alone, I guess you missed the part where he was with a group of boaters traveling together… kinda hard to miss but ok? 🤷♂️🤦♂️
@@joeblow9850
His boat was on autopilot. His friends were so far behind that if he fell overboard they would have more than likely drove right passed him in the water while they continued to follow the empty vessel. I've spent enough time on the open ocean to know that you can't over prepare. When you're out there, your decisions can decide if you make it home alive or not. That ocean shows no mercy.
Bruddah, thank you sooo much for thinking about your viewers while filming.
you seem to draw us in with the natural sounds and the Amazing drone footage. makes for a more inclusive experience.
being from the Pacific i'm loving the Atlantic just that much more. I just love the ocean period.
I had 3 catamarans for my business but your boat.....you made the right choice. its super chilling vibe makes for great composition. Your videos make me smile and reflect. a
Aloha and Mahalo (Gracias Hermano).🤙🙏
Thank you Mr Bing this means a lot. I make these videos for you the subscribers so I am always happy to get positive feedback!
in the 1950's my dad made the trip with a buddy in a state of the art 17 foot runabout with 35 horse Johnson . i don't think you needed a passport then . just show up and declare .. a different world then ... no movie but great color slides . the old ship wreck was there also . only more intact
Sounds like good times. On a calm day a 17ft boat with a 35 is enough to get you their. Bimini must have been really empty back then compared to now with the homes airport and Hilton hotel.
If you ain't the Coolest guy.... love how you interacted with the Bimini Boys - 👍🏾😇
I use to do the same thing riding around my bike in the streets of Miami so I instantly connected with them and their sense of adventure

Wow, Bimini has changed so much, it used to be untouched and not modernized.
Yes I have heard the same thing that before the hilton it was a fishermen's island
Yea, I mean you're literally watching a video of someone contributing to that.
Amazing, how long you needed from Florida to Bimini?
Nice day hour and a half only 50 miles away

Subscribed. Awesome video!
Thank you John
Never heard of this place
Now you know
Kind of late, nice video. One thing not sure if you have a kill switch or not auto pilot is nice but one wrong wave and your out and your boat is gone.
I know I only did it because it was very flat that day and the chances were very low
I am new to a “large” center console boat & fishing in the ocean. I can not for the life of me understand why people ride with no kill lanyard. I mean a life vest maybe. There’s nothing to stop the boat if you go overboard. To me it’s a stupid decision not to wear one. I will just assume you have the man over board system. 😂
Great video other than that. And yes I have every right to say something. It could be me and my family that YOUR boat kills when you are not on board.
You boat In Miami? I’m kidding lol I usually have the kill switch attached to myself but that day it was so flat that I did not put it on.
@@MiamiLiving305 Yes! We do a little traveling around. We have a SeaCat 260. Hey look into the man overboard system. It’s a really neat system. It a fob that stays in your pocket. No being tied up. 😂 Trust me I get it. There is nothing worse than being tied to the boat with a cable that gets caught on everything. Well I guess going over and watching your boat sail into the sunset could be worse. 😂
Really enjoyed the video. Stay safe friend.

this video is awesome but have been trying to find out the song at 2:50
No song at that mark
We are not boaters, we want to rent a boat and go for the weekend, would you recommend it?
And what advice would you give inregards to navigating the sea.
I just recovered from a serious surgery and this is something my husband and i want to do for our 25th wedding anniversary, but only if it is safe.
We are not risk takers, we have children.
It’s safe if you are in a good boat and the weather is good. I have seen jet skis and small jet boats make it so yes it’s safe to cross. Now in terms of renting a boat I’m not sure a company will let you rent a boat and take it to another country. They do have ferry that can take you but not sure of a rental boat company that would allow that
Probably a dumb question but we are setting for our first trip across in June. The customs paperwork asks for a boat name. I don't have a name for my boat. What do I enter?? Thanks in advance.
Enter No Name in that section.
great video bro
Thanks Roberto
Nice boat bro
Thanks John
Thanks for the detailed videos..going in June. On the first video what place were you at with the pools?
They call it Blue Beach and its part of the Hilton towards the north end of the Island
I don't need Billions in the bank, super yachts, jets like Elon........ I just want a quiet happy wealthy lifestyle like you man, nice house, boat, Jetski and a 4x4 truck, life will be grand!!!
I don’t get to show all the hard work it takes to get to this point but all I can say is never settle and always follow your dreams
Awesome vid man, that is also my dream!!! How much fuel do you carry?
I went with 130 gallons and my boat holds 220 but I only consumed about 70-73 gallons the whole weekend going back and forth and moving around the island
What year and make for the boat?

That’s awesome I’m dying to go there but I have a 23 ft Bowrider with a F150 Yamaha,do you think it’s safe to attempt a trip with a small boat like mine ?great video god bless
Yes Robert as long as you plan your trip and go with good weather conditions (less then 8mph wind) I'm sure you will make it just fine. Its not as far as you might think when you actually go. I have seen many people go in both 19 ft Jetboats and others that have even gone in Jetskis so I'm sure you will be more then fine with your 23ft boat. Just make sure your maintenance is done before you go would be my only recommendation

@@whatta7793 well technically if you are entering their waters and their international line/jurisdiction you should check in! Once checked in you fly the local Bahamas flag for the rest of your stay which shows you have checked in and are free to move through the rest of the Bahamas
Flip the rope to tie the knot. Un nudo fácil.
En que parte de el video te refreses?
sorry 3:50
Always watch for tankers or other boats on auto pilot.. where is your safty equipment? You left your followers in the dust. Not nice.
No we were split into two groups. I was leading the first group that had a higher cruising speed then the smaller boat group. We all stayed in light of sight of each other and was in constant communication. We do not go so close to each other because of the wake the boats make along with the seas can make it a rougher ride for those that follow behind. So instead we split up wide. If at the end we all waited and came into bimini together
Lots of mistakes by you. first one was going alone. Second mistake having no life jacket and putting the boat in auto pilot and going to the front of boat leaving it unattended. One bad current and your literally dead in the water.
Mistakes were made but mission was accomplished. Thanks for watching
Why would you go there? Seems like a garbage heap.
The Water is some of the best in the world from fishing to beaches and its only 50 miles from miami

Awesome video. Thank you. Doing this trip is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I’m planning on doing it in summer 2023. I’m from NY and will be trailering my boat down. That being said I’m unfamiliar with the weather there. For the crossing, what kind of wind is optimal. Obviously no wind, but what about wind direction? Does a south or north wind cause a wet ride, west wind a rough following sea? What month is usually calm? Are there any forums where a group of people plan to go out at the same time? Any feed back is awesome and greatly appreciated. Thanks for the awesome fun videos! Keep it up!
Well winds are usually from east to west best time to go is late summer after the winds have calmed down. I wont go anything past 12-13 mpd and because you easily are seeing 4-5 ft waves and makes the trip alot longer then it should be.
