The Amethyst Tiaras are really pretty.
The colour purple 💜 is very Royal.
I love how the amethysts make her eyes pop! Like Princess Madeline and the aquamarine tiara, the amethysts simply just draw that blueness from her eyes!
I adore amethyst. When I look at jewelry I naturally gravitate to them. Those pieces were stunning, just like all of you videos!
Congratulations🎉to Princess Mette for has able wearing precious 💞 Tiara.🎉❤🎉
Amethyst is my favorite stone. I think this piece is gorgeous.❤❤❤
Amethyst is my favorite gem stone. I loved seeing this.
It's really a beautiful gemstone, and surprising it's not in more tiaras!
There was some talk about CP Mette Marit having neck problems and being prone to severe headaches which contributed to her choices in wearing small hats and lightweight tiaras. Given that background and her colouring, the amethysts are a perfect choice for her. I love how the pieces can mix and match in different ways so that she can get extra mileage.
I love good amethyst. So often it’s used cheaply. This tiara is quite beautiful.
I love the amethyst tiara! And it looks exceptional on Crown Princess Mette-Marit. She is simply beautiful. The amethysts agree with her skin tone, blue eyes, and blonde hair, and this amethyst tiara looks perfect on her!
Hello Brittany vey good video regarding the Norwegian Tiara it is beautiful.
I love this tiara, and I love amethysts!
It's a lovely tiara!! I really do like it!
I love, love, love the amethyst tiara 💜💜
It's a very beautiful piece.
She’s very beautiful!
I can't believe I'm seeing a second amethyst tiara. This is now my new favorite tiara. The tiara more slimmer then Sweden's Amethyst Napoleonic tiara. Plus this tiara has more amethysts.
It’s lovely!! I think it has a great design, and I always appreciate multi-functionality! Thanks for watching!!
I love this lightweight Amethyst Tiara. Although the gemstones are on the small size, they very symmetrical and lovely shade of purple. I love amethysts. Deep purple amethysts. The design of this tiara is lovely, delicate, sparkly, and a comfortable looking tiara. It goes well with Mette-Maritt’s blonde hair and blues eyes. She glows with this tiara. 👍🥰❤️
Lovely tiara, also good that they make new too.
Yay an amethyst tiara for us February babies....happy birthday to us. 🎉
Happy Birthday 🎉😊
@@lindacalbeck1756 thank you... 😊 it's on the 28th. Celebrating for the whole month lol
I have a cousin who was born on February 29!
@@Mehitabel18 so is my aunt... I joke with her about trying to steal my birthday 🎂 lol
@@diandracoffey2310 Isn’t it fun to have a relative that you can pretend is younger than you, when they’re really 4x that?
Love love the tiara ❤
Love the amethyst. It's unique & not often seen in crown jewels.
It's not! It's pretty rare!
The Grandducal Family of Luxembourg owns TWO complete amethyst parures. Very huge stones in them, too.
@@dorisschneider-coutandin9965 I’ve got to look that up!
That is beautiful and amethyst are my birthstone, so I am particularly fond of this one! Thank you so much for sharing Brittany💜
Look forward to the Spencer tiara video!
Not a fan of Amethyst, I must say I love this!!!! It is breathtaking! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I’ve always loved amethysts. My engagement ring was a pear shaped amethyst. I let the guy go, but kept the ring! Lol 😂 It was all very friendly. Never actually married. This parure is absolutely beautiful! It looks so lovely on Crown Princess Mette-Marit. I pray her health is good. Thank you Brittany! Love from Oregon ♥️ Jessica
That sounds like a fun and unique engagement ring! Sorry it didn’t work out, but sounds like it was for the best! Thanks for watching!!
@@RoyalFashionNews I was in a phase where I thought diamonds were pretentious and evil! Didn’t realize amethysts were so cheap & soft til mine cracked. So the joke was on me! Lol 😂 Silly phase anyway! I’m scouring the Analucia website lately!!! Safe diamonds! I’d take a Canadian diamond too now!!! I know you’re in partnership with Analucia, but Ross Simons Diamond Nexus has such a bigger selection of lab grown diamonds in larger carats, too. ♥️ Obviously more expensive, but, oh so beautiful!!!
The first king of modern Norway was a Danish prince , so the Danish and Norwegian royal houses are quite close. The amethyst tiara is lovely .
It’s a very pretty tiara and I love the amethysts. I also love the mass of tiaras at 3:55 . I need a tiara. Thanks for the video, Brittany…such a nice break from all the other news going on.
Of course!!
I love Amethyst,it's my birthstone purple to me is such a beautiful color..
It's beautiful 😊
I really love this tiara the amethyst are unusual
Amethyst tiaras are rarer and look lovely against her hair. So glad they have this set to share in the royal family.
I feel very connected to amethysts - I’ve got children and grandchildren born in February and I live in the Geode state. Geodes which are usually filled with amethysts! And since I recently discovered that I’m part Norwegian …..
The Amethyst Tiara is so pretty and very versatile...
I do have to ask you, why you say that the Norwegian Royal Family is so closely related to Sweden?
For almost 500 years Denmark and Norway were intertwined politically.
Norway then wanted their well deserved independence and after the Napoleonic Wars, received it.
However they needed assistance at a later date and joined with Sweden in an alliance for approx. 90 years with a shared King.
At the turn of the century, in 1905 Norway became independent from Sweden and wanted to choose their own king.
The Norwegian Royal Family was then 'given' Prince Carl, son of King Frederik VIII of Denmark, who then became Haakon VII.
So over the centuries, Denmark and Norway, have had much more in common then with Sweden.
hello from Denmark 🌸
...but the majority of their tiaras come from the Swedish royal house (from the Bernadotte family) (Queen Josephine and Queen Sofia). A few others came to Norway with Queen Maud of England (who was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria) but none (as far as I know) came from Denmark, they kept their tiaras to themselves.😉
As a Feb birthday, I love amethysts!
Sorry to say, but there are no pearls in this tiara. It's Amethysts and Diamonds. As in the matching rest of the parure. Also, to say amethysts would be gemstones of less value is a bit presumptuous, imho. There are enough diamonds surrounding the amethysts here to make it a truly stunning and precious piece. What can be said, however, is that amethysts might be sourced/mined a little more frequently than rubies, sapphires, or emeralds. It doesn't make them second class jewellery, however.
Prinsesse Astrid, fru Ferner has a very uniq head juwels do you know anything about her tiaras?
I agree with you, I think this is a lovely set. I think QEII had an amethyst tiara, necklace etc. I think I've seen pictures, but I don't know if I'm misremembering! Do you know?
The Brits did have one, but it was sold by Queen Mary. I don’t remember Elizabeth really wearing amethysts, but she may have one set. Thanks for watching!!
QE II owned a so called "demi-parure" made of amethysts. It includes earrings, a stunningly huge necklace, two haircombs, and some brooches (to be worn with or without pendants). The demi-parure (and mainly the brooch QE II did wear frequently) also goes under the name "The Kent Amethysts". And demi-parure because there is no matching tiara to go with it. QE II paired the Kent Amethysts therefore mainly with the GoGB&I tiara.
@@dorisschneider-coutandin9965 Thank you for the information. It's good to know my memory isn't going off!
Cool!
Thank you for another Tiara story. This is kind of an underwhelming tiara. I’m not a big purple fan but, some people just love the color. I think this tiara would smashing with a purplish or lavender gown similar to what Crown Princess Victoria.
Brittany who is speaking “we don’t count the carats, we count the centuries”
Queen Margrethe of Denmark!! ☺️ If was as part of a Danish documentary on Scandinavian tiaras!!
How dare you say that amethyst is a less valuable stone?! It’s my birthstone and I absolutely love it! When the Princess heard that you had hurt my feelings in this cruel way, she immediately had it packaged up and sent ( postage due, of course) to me to make me feel better! I was going to invite you to dinner to show you how fabulous my new tiara looks on me, but since you were so rude about the cost of the stones, I changed my mind! Well, if you’re just going to whine about it, I guess you can come to the second dinner with lower class people. Someone wanted me to invite nutmeg and ginger, but the cost of extra security to follow sticky fingered nutmeg around all night was astronomical!! So I suppose the only question left for me to ask you is do you like Hamburger Helper???!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Today amethysts are less precious than some other colored gemstones.but historically amethysts where considered extremely expensive. To this day bishops in the Catholic Church wear an amethyst ring as the symbol of office.
She,s loking more good o 4:46 ut of h,r person , than Maxima from Holland. Maxiama is looking very bad.
🕯️👑🇧🇻
While I like amethysts, I don't care for this setting. Looks too much like a necklace turned into a tiara.
The BRF had an amethyst parure curtsy of Queen Mary, of course. It was given to the Queen Mum, who never wore it . Then it was offered to QEII who refused it and it was sold at auction.
She needs to work with Voice technician to lower her octaves about three times. So distracting from the content.
