America is amazing. Literally you don't get this level of effort put into actual historical site/museums here in the UK. But us has this just for a shop. This is awesome

Fun change of pace,. Seeing this place now blows my mind! I still remember seeing Kobe Bryant lead a big 4th quarter comeback to beat the Grizzlies by 1 on a buzzer beater there way back in April of 2003..
I'm Arkansas kid with family in Collierville, so I love going across the bridge and driving through Memphis. I don't love big cities, but I do like driving through Memphis and Little Rock.
That’s awesome, I am a huge fisherman and so excited to go there, that is my dream destination honestly even though I have been to Jamaica and places like that, but I am goin on July 8th and staying in their hotel!
Bass Pro in Bristol use to have the Fish Bowl bowling ally attached. It was detailed but may not be that detailed as it is in Memphis (but hey you go all out in the pyramid), now Bristol's Bowl is now Cabellas line of outdoor gear
I'm going to Memphis next week and I'm excited to check out this pyramid! 10:59- The name of the bridge is called Hernando De Soto Bridge (Tied-Arch Bridge) named after the explorer who traveled the Mississippi River south of the present day location of Memphis.
Kool video Eric!! Never knew this existed!! I’m there!! This is a nice change of pace ,, glad you showed us this most awesome Bass pro shop ,, thanks 😊
In Springfield Missouri there is a pretty big and cool Bass Pro Shops (which I'm pretty sure is its headquarters) that has a gun museum and large fishing, boating, and hunting displays.
Over 40 years ago, Bass Pro was just a regional chain of small bait shops when I was a boy living in Northern Missouri. How it's become such a large corporate is something else. Columbia and Springfield, MO also have great big nice Bass Pro shops. The Bass Pro pyramid is magnificent!
I visited this place a few years ago on a trip I took to Memphis, TN (and Little Rock, AR) with my wife. It was absolutely amazing!! I couldn't believe how big it was and what BPS had done to the place. I remember it being a basketball arena where the Memphis State Univ used to play. Here in Southern California (Long Beach), Long Beach State Univ's basketball team also play in their version of the pyramid, which looks similar to the one in Memphis. Thanks Eric! Did a little reminiscing while watching your video.
I went to a few Grizzlies games there when I was in elementary school. The Pyramid sat vacant for years after the Grizzlies & Tigers both left. It’s brought a lot of tourism to Memphis overall.
Random Thought: When Eric said "Tomb of Doom", the way he said it is like an evil villain, and if he was one, I'd say he's like a Baxter Stockman Also I'm originally from Memphis, and I've never been to the pyramid....
i will be in nashville as well hope to see you there . i met you in talladega couple yrs ago . great show . i lve in chattanooga tn 85 miles from the track .

@@MisledVision I run Memphis to Little Rock twice per day, 5 days a week. It didn’t get better until this week. Still not great. But if you can get through Memphis without getting carjacked or robbed, it was a successful trip.
I went through the pyramid in the early 2000's when the Guggenheim Art of The Motorcycle exhibit was there. I was the only person in the building, it was awesome.
I was fixing to move to Memphis to fly a drone for security purposes, but I was looking to settle down in Arkansas a short distance from the border. Then I saw that that bridge you highlighted was shut down, I saw the absurd traffic outside of peak hours at the bridge to the South and realized I'd be playing with fire on drive time, especially if god help me a crash happened on the southern bridge. That being said...that pyramid does look really cool. I'd definitely check it out had I followed through on that relocation.
The last race at Nashville Superspeedway was the NASCAR Nationwide (now Xfinity) Series Federated Auto Part 300 on July 23, 2011. Carl Edwards won the race. So, that is just LESS THAN 10 years not more. But, I'm headed to Gladeville on Sunday as well, maybe I'll see you there.
My Sophmore chemistry teacher was a big outdoor guy and would always talk about fishing, hunting and his guns. I always had it written down to ask him if he’s been here and I never got the chance to ask him. He retired too, so now I’ll just assume he’s been here since then.
Honestly, when I was on a trip to Oklahoma we arrived at this large hotel, the interior was beautiful. I loved it! I even got to saw a tall view of the top of the hotel. Like what, it was like.. 100 or 200 ft tall? I forgot. It was honestly one of the most best hotels.
Drove by it the once the only time I ever drove through Memphis. Unfortunately it was getting dark outside, which is right about the time to get out of Memphis.
In case your wondering yes he was at bass pro in Memphis I've passed by it too. And he caught a glimpse of the Mississippi river bridge on i40 he couldn't use that bridge due to cracks on it it should be running again next month. I hope. But I wonder what way did you take I think you took majority of the way I've taken when to both Indiana and more recently Nashville which your heading too. I sure wish to see it again myself.
So in the local bass pro shop there is a mtj 2007 cot with mannequins doing a pit stop and a full sized dale earnhardt sr 1990s gold bass pro shops car
