I love your playful experimentation. I too get the scrawlr box but they don’t often get used as time runs away from me and I get a crafting box too. With work and other commitments time is at a premium.

I couldn't decide what type of video I would prefer. Maybe the more finished artwork? But for me it's definitely seeing your art getting "born" 😁 so it's not about if it's a full illustration or scribbling around...its the "whole package" 😊 at least for me 💚

They're adorable. I don't mind seeing sketchy video's, so long as we do get a few finished pieces every once in a while.
I like seeing your process and the sketchy side. It was a nice change from finished pieces but honestly i like both kinds of videos. I think your illustrations turned out great!

Aaah the fox is so cool! I'm doing a lot of geometric stuff at the moment so this has inspired me to combine it with my other kinds of art

As for your question about what we prefer you do, whether you're doing fully finished drawings or simple sketches I find it fun to watch and tend to get ideas. Do what you feel like on the days you record its not always necessary to do one or the other.
Those geometric animals would be a really cool print series!

Tbh, I don't have a preference for what you draw - I like what you come up with and I think it's important that you don't feel caged or 'boxed in' if you'll excuse the phrase in combination with this ScrawlrBox challenge. It's fun for me to see what artists come up with on their own, and what they enjoy drawing the most. Seeing how to respond to the prompts and different challenges, especially with stuff you're not used to, and when you share your process and show your mistakes, really inspires me to step outside my own comfort zone. So keep doing you! It's why I'm here, anyway. :)
I like both kinds of videos, both the polished outcome and the sketchy "try out the supplies"-kind! They have different appeal, but are both very fun to watch 🤩

I really love metallic art supplies, but they are certainly difficult to work with when you're not provided any other medium. I think you did a good job for what they provided, and they look pretty.

December's Scrawlrbox made me buy that ruler haha. I didn't realise they existed and I just instantly fell in love with it!
It turned out really nice! I'm not the biggest fan of metallic or black paper and I really don't enjoy working with geometric shapes but you did it 😄I really like the bear I think the big shape around it gives him a nice frame

The ruler was my favorite thing about this box.
I really enjoyed watching your process from swatching to refining the direction you chose when using the products. I think I prefer watching your mind work and not necessarily simply seeing a polished finished piece immediately. Did that make sense? Just one other thing - there was no ‘Sally Butt”, or “cat intermission”. I feel bereft...😻🎨🖌 xx

It doesn’t matter to me rather or not you make a finished piece or sketchy fun piece. I come to see more than the supplies. I would say dont stress yourself out deciding one or the other just do what you feel for each box.

One of the reasons why your channel is because you tend t draw mostly animals and that's where my heat lives... especially cats. Your bear and wolf (and raccoon) were lovely on the black paper.
I like when there’s a finished artwork at the end. Doesn’t have to be good or even successful, though. Just the effort to use the materials for something final.
(I should add that I consider the illustrations in this video finished artworks even if you call them doodles.)

What I am surprised for is that artist are afraid of silence... I dont care. Because sometimes I set off the talking because its distracting. I dont mean you... you dont talk the whole time... bit dont be afraid of silence... silence is good in a world full of noise...

Hard to decide, what i like more. In this video i really adore little mr raccons rough sketch. There is not one of your pieces that i don't like.. So so what fits you best 🙃
Just a thought could the solubility, be effected by the type of paper that they were put on. Because i was wondering if the black card changed the way the water sat on the surface, maybe not long enough to de-solve the pencil. You asked about the more render or complete drawings v sketches and playful ones. I'd say using the scrawlrbox materials would suit the way you have used them in this video, i suppose it gives an idea of the types of things you can do, and more complete renders would be left to established materials you have and feel confident in and don;t need to be tested as such.
Just to add, the last drawing= of the triptych of pieces is probably one of my fav ones that i have seen you do. It's something that reminds me of my two passions at school, Art and technical drawing. the contrast bettween light and dark and soft and hard edges is really good.

actually those metallic pencils arent water soluble! derwent used to make diffrent metallic pencils which were in fact watercolor pencils, but the ones u got are supposed to be even more shiny but at the cost of them being no longer water soluble
