Kudos to you for sticking to it and finishing it despite all that annoying stuff happening. Turned out cute. I think that the yellow/spice smudge looks like a the baby dragon made a embers and is now looking up all proud at its mom.

It turned out so cute and the idea of making different drawings was very nice. I understand the struggle you went through but thanks for continuing anyway. You can still do the other drawing in another video and, this time with your favourite art supplies ;) 💞💞💞
Still love it, even with the little accidents on it, think it shows your younger audience not every art piece is perfect every single time you draw, and accidents and mistakes will still happen, thank you for not scrapping the video. Do love the little dragon as well.
Why don't you take a month to yourself ? To take your stuff together, plan your schedule and just take a time for yourself, go out with your friends and family, spend time with your cats and draw when you want don't push yourself, that's just a advice I give, love ya ♡
did that to on Instagram as it was really needed but... lost many followers.. and that probably will happen on RUclips as well so there probably won't be very much space for such if she is dependant on the income from RUclips. many people are not so understanding and patience as you are and that's sad. but I actually agree .. she should be able to have a little break.
@@soekieloekiekaassouffle5950 Instagram has a completely different gain/loose mechanism though. It's easiest to gain and easiest to loose there.
@@IIAlexII101 yet it are people who click follow and unfollowing same as clicking subscribe or unsubscribe. so in this case I think it goes the same 🤷♀️?
@@soekieloekiekaassouffle5950 it's not. Losing followers on insta is way easier than RUclips. Yes, she will lose subs if she takes a break; its inevitable. But it won't make a major impact tbh. I cant really explain why but it makes sense if you think about it. I think because a lot of youtubers take long breaks and eventually come back? Honestly a month to me isn't much. I don't think many people would unsub if she left for a month either

I don't see any logic why people would click unfollow on Instagram sooner than click unsubscribe on RUclips but that's probably my lack of know how these platforms work. hence why I am not a success on Instagram 🤣 lol

Why not try to do those other pieces in another video, when you feel better about things?
I love seeing real people in these videos. Makes me feel better about the actions I take with my art. Scraping art is ok because sometimes you'll end up with something even better.

I know it probably frustrated you, but I am glad you showed us that great artists also struggle like the new ones do. We sometimes forget that anyone can have a bad day. I still love how it came out, even with its "flaws".
Thank you for sharing this with us even though you weren't 100% satisfied with it. I'm currently struggling with some REALLY extreme art block and motivation problems and this really helped me because it reminded me that we all struggle with things and have pieces we are really excited for that just don't work out. I really needed that kind of reminder this week so thank you.

No one’s perfect girl ☺️ this piece actually turned out pretty nice. You could have saved it by smudging more bits of ink in the background to create a pattern.
I'm really proud of you for keeping at it and posting this! The fear of perfectionism especially on such a public platform can be crippling (literally)! You have done an excellent job to show a nice piece of artwork or art very minimum, some practice, can be done with a lot of mistakes in the process and still come out cute. I remember a saying "We've got ten thousand bad drawings in us, might as well get them out now." and for some reason that always made me hopeful and less perfectionist. I'm like wait... I'm not going to be perfect all the time. And I'm not going to learn to be better if I constantly struggle to do so. I spend so much time on the details I never learn from the overall experience. I've given myself a lot more patience since then. I hope you continue to give yourself some.

Awww, it turned out so sweet! I understand your struggles, though, and not just in creating the art but in creating a RUclips video to go with it. I think you managed really well to pull it together into a really cute drawing. And I loved the idea for the three drawings, too. Sometimes art supplies just throw us curve balls, but despite the constant struggles it all came together!

I love that little creature. So so cute. I have noticed a water brush or a wet paintbrush seems to work better with the brush markers than the blender. Also, you can touch two of the colored brush markers together to get a blend of two different colors. Just like the Camillian markers. Just putting that out there, you may already know these things. Thanks for sharing your wonderful art.

Awww, I understand that mood, when you want to start sobbing when something goes wrong in art. FWIW, I love the illustration you finished, and the idea was adorable. Don't beat yourself up too much. Artists are aleays our own worst critics, after all. /Huuug/

I love this piece. Mostly because you pushed through your struggles and kept going. I think that’s what all art teachers tell you to do, right? Don’t scrap it, learn from it and you may come out with something you really like. The smudges add character and “realness” (I think I made that word up😆). Who is perfect? I don’t want to meet that person. The bleeding out at the feet actually give it some depth with the way you lined around it. The feathers look beautiful. And growth can be seen here as this little dragon is going from egg to creature. You put in a ton of work, and I am so thankful that you were willing to share. Hugs girl!!
Thank you so much for deciding to upload your struggles. It helps to know what nit to do with the supplies and that everything doesn't always go perfectly for everyone. I always thought it was just me! Or that I was doing something wrong. Beautiful drawing even with the problems :)

We are always our own worst critics - I love what you've created here! I am an artist who likes being "messy" with my traditional media work, and I have often had lower quality items. There have been so many times where I started something I was hopeful for. Then the colors bled, or I didn't draw the lines in a way I like, or the product would just not work how I thought it would. And then those projects would get dropped out of frustration.
I'm trying to be more forgiving of what I create. And one thing that helps is seeing other artists experience similar problems, and knowing that despite those problems, I still enjoy the work produced.

I feel really sorry for you, I think most artists can relate to the 'uggggh' feeling when something just doesn't want to turn out the way they want and I hope you can maybe finish the challenge in a stream or something, I think you still made the best out of it!

What an interesting perspective! I used to use Micron pens but they always smudged, thought it was the actual marker itself doing it so I stopped using it. Not sure why I never thought it was the paper I was using, lol. Props to you for continuing the art! I would've tossed my stuff away and try again another day hahah.

This is really good! I smudge all the time, it isn’t a huge deal :) Also, I think the egg itself fits the “growing up” prompt- the egg grew into a baby :)
I had problems too with the water based markers in my Scrawlr Box but I also didn't try to merge January's box with February's.. Cudos to you hunny for sticking it out and finishing a really great picture!! 💖
I can understand your frustration. I'm a perfectionist too, so I get wanting to start over after a smudge. But I like the drawings themselves. I think the concept is cool and would love to see you finish it. And you're right, the feathers came out beautifully.
Watching this again and it's still super cute to watch you create! Mishaps happen with art! Heh. I myself need to learn how to better plan art pieces before I make the final product xD

the micro pen i got in the box is after 2 weeks nearly unusable even i was very carefully every time i used it uû

It's funny, how a drawing you think isn't your fines't and indeed you seem not to like. Is still a pretty picture, that's cute and imaganative. I also think that, you could sell that as a sticker. With the think line and shape, it would look cool.

I think it still came out pretty amaxing! You should do experimental swatches with all the supplies next time you mix two scrawler boxes and on the paper you're gonna use as well
Even when you feel like your art isn't the best, or looks bad, it is still so goregeous in my opinion (and in lots of other people i guess ^^). You're one of my favorite artist of all time Marie, I've been following your stuff back when you were doing MLP fanart and my 12-year-old-self was already in love with your art ! I was so glad seeing you showing on camera and speaking and improving your art, coming out with new ideas etc. But now I just feel like you're puting so much pressure on yourself it actually kinda makes me sad ;n; We all love you Marie, and i guess no one would want you to feel so stressed out about your videos etc. Just take your time ! You could try to come back to more "simple videos", doing some speedpaint (for example : you could do a speedpaint of those 2 unfinished drawings) with or without voice over if you don't have time for it, it's fine. And I'm also pretty sure some people (me included) would love to see some digital speedpaints which are pretty easy to edit and post. Just do as you like and take your time ! We don't expect you to be perfect (even tho you are ;w;), we just want you to feel good about youself and your art ! You give me so much inspiration in the way you always keep going even if things are stressful/hard, i guess it just be like that sometimes :c You're a wonderful person and we all love you so much

Aww mistakes happen. I thought you were drawing his beginnings of fire breathing with the yellow!! Do the 3 drawings in your choice of supplies, that would be neat to sew!!

This is really good but I felt like crying for you as the scrawler box with the water pens were a disaster for me liked the promarker one but hated the other I haven't seen one person that really truely liked them. They also was in the powerful pack box as well just with more colours.

eeeeh, actually, the pencil cap eraser belongs on the other end of the pencil.
Their main purpose is to protect the sharpened, pointy lead in your pencil case and prevent breakage, not to substitute an eraser. That's why they have such a big hole inside! It can exceptionally be used as an eraser if none is around but it's not a good idea to use them regularly. They usually don't perform very good and you'll end up with much waste that you just can't use anymore and need to throw it away.
