I also have a 99 FXDWG...I love it. I have Screaming Eagle II pipes and it sounds sweet. My winter upgrade this year is a much louder horn, and maybe chrome sliders for the front end.
Nice! I love this bike. It’s getting upgraded now, and should be back soon. I’ll make another video about the changes. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching!
The older dyna wide glide definitely has a beautiful look. I’m actually thinking of an older wide glide for my 1st bike as well. It’s surely a size a style of bike that could grow with you.
Hi, Great Video. I’m going to be Buying a 1999 Harley Wide Glide in a couple of Days. I used to have a 2013 Wide Glide but I just never got to where I liked the Back Fender, as much as the older ones. I think the way the Back Fender kinda flips up toward the end looks Great. It’s my favorite of all the Harley back Fenders. I also like the old Carbureted Engines. It seems like the newer the Harleys are the more they are loosing the beloved Harley Sound. I like the Old Bikes anyway. Anyways I can’t wait to pick the Bike up. It’s in Excellent condition.👍👍
I think there’s a big difference between the carbs and fuel injected bikes. Both sound good, but the carbs definitely has that classic sound that’s awesome
I just bought my first Harley, not my first motorcycle, bt , yeah an2003 wide glide. Really like this bike, the previous owner either put small ape hangers on or just pushed the stock bars forward more, but its nice, live ths bike. Staysafe
I've only considered the Evo or the 1,200 Sportster for HD bikes. I finally got my own '94 Dyna Wide Glide this last week and personally, I've always wanted a Softail but this was available for the right price and in my home town like a mile away.
I have a Honda shadow spirit 750 and already feeling like I need more power. Considering a 2005 HD dyna wide glide fuel injected with the 88ci engine. Idk if I should go for something newer like a 2010-2013 wide glide but I love the tail fender look on the 2005 and many other reasons I just love the old school lookin bikes. Any recommendations going from my Honda shadow 750 if the 2005 HD DYNA WIde glide is a good upgrade that can last for many many years as my main.
You’ll like the Wide Glide, and it’ll be a good step up from the 750. Just keep up with regular maintenance, and it’ll last a long time. Mine is a 1999 with 55,000 miles now and it still runs great
I’m age 79 have stroked 121 HP 03 Wide glide for 20 years Jag cooler , Pingel shift turns high 11s 114 mph feels like a carnival ride after pushing the shift button at 5800 rpm bike is tame on the street wild on the strip flamed out to look like it’s moving when standing still🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😂😂
I have an 07 WG. Will ride it for the rest of my days. Awesome bike. I love everything about it.
Right on!
I have a 2007 Dyna Wide Glide and LOVE it.
How can you not? 💯👍🏻✌🏻
Same here, amigo!

Good choice!
Awesome video. I know, I ride mine full time. Especially great in the mountains.
Love the bars and view on that! Have a '10 fxdc that I want to put those type of bars on, such a classic Harley look! 👍
Thank you! A classic never dies 💯👍🏻
I love my 2011 Dyna Wide Glide, perfect bike

Thanks bud. You too ✌🏻
When people ask me what kind of bike should start on? Evo is the new Shovel

Handle bars should be good to go. They are the same
Your Dyna sounds great 👍
What pipes are you running?
Thank you. I have the Vance and Hines, Pro Pipe HS

Awesome!
Hypothetically do you live in Fresno/Clovis
Definitely 559 area
What size is this ape hanger?
The apes are 18” tall
What mirrors are you using? it seems they fit the old wide glide well.
Those are the Kuryakyn Turn Signal Mirrors. They work really good to. I like them a lot. Thanks!
Would like to see the ape hanger install
