@@ceshmate1953 The fact that they used to charge £12.99 for monopoly which was so buggy i never managed to finish a single game without it crashing and its still like that for almost 10 years now
Isn’t this technically illegal? Or at least against steam guidelines? They’re selling a game in which one of the advertised features (multiplayer) does not function properly if at all.
Everyone has been doing this for nearly 20 years now if not more, it doesnt matter if people still buy. Money talks. As long as people pay it doesnt matter.
Because people keep buying them lol. Assassin's Creed, EVERY DAMN YEAR, it's so bad yet millions of copies sold. Far Cry? Literally looks and plays the same, still sells every time it comes out. Why would a company spend the money to improve the game when they can spend WAY LESS just paying someone to copy everything over when people are going to keep buying it?
Yep and I hate them for it. They ruined Siege, AC, The Division, Trials, their launcher, inviting friends. I can go on, but at this point I'd rather use the Epic Games launcher.
@@blindfire3167 I enjoyed Far Cry the way they did it before. Still a semi serious game while retaining a lot of the old mechanics, but with a completely different setting. I loved FC3 and FC4 individually although I knew they were practically the same game, sort of liked FC5 (admittedly it could have been a lot better) and never even touched FC6. Ubisoft just need to learn to listen to their players and stick to what works while adding/changing stuff that people want. If they did that I'd keep buying their games every time a new one comes out, even if it is very similar to the last one. But hey, they like changing stuff that we like and they like to add/keep stuff nobody wants. So fuck 'em.
I feel like people really don't hate modern Ubisoft anywhere near enough. With every recent Ubi game I've played there are always problems before even starting the game, or the UI is garbage and missing features. Trials Rising is legitimately one of the worst experiences I've had in a videogame.
And ubisoft costumer support is probably the worst costumer support i have ever had to deal with. If i never have to deal with anything ubisoft related again in my life its still to soon !
ok but ubisoft is never gonna get better. they're awful and they don't care, and their fanbase is probably also awful which is why the quality is so low
4:24-4:37 God, I feel this after playing Breakpoint. How in the actual hell are you gonna go from a game where they make Bolivia absolutely gorgeous, competently made cutscenes, solid controls without sacrificing fun for the realism, and can easily invite a friend to the session to the most generic ass island ever, cutscenes that look like you’re supposed to have dialogue options ala Mass Effect, having to watch your character patch up their leg for what feels like 5 minutes for even a SINGLE PIP of your health bar, and menus so goddamn annoying to get through, it’s impossible to even send a invite to your friend DESPITE HAVING XBOX, PLAYSTATION, OR STEAM TO HELP MITIGATE THIS?!
I feel you so much on this. I liked Wildlands I really did. I never even finished Breakpoint. Well technically me and my friend did, but only by cheesing the shit out of it and going to the final boss, who is present on the map right from the start and shooting him in the head, skipping the entire story.
4:23 Ubisoft is guilty of this way too often. Same happens with updates in R6 Siege, every season they decide to completely rework a perfectly working system out of the blue, with literally 0 people asking for changes beforehand.

When I watched the stream I genuinely thought that just the hour and change that took you guys to match up together deserved its own video, but I never thought you’d do it hahaha
Teo, I just wanted to say while I was watching one of your Mish Mash videos earlier today. I thought about how you really are my most favorite RUclipsr out there 😊 after watching you since lagxpeanutpwner days, that’s always been my opinion about you

Had a similar experience with the first Trivial Pursuit Live game on Playstation. There has been a bug since the release of that game where you literally cannot generate a party, and the only way you can play with friends online is by finding a random lobby. This is usually impossible because there was always one guy sat in a lobby on his own who would be afk looking for a game and then never start a match. They've since "fixed this" by making Trivial Pursuit Live 2 - which is the exact same game but a new purchase and a slight reskin.
I want to give my frustration from a different perspective: I use a steam deck. Been wanting to play games like Rayman Legends on it. But of course, everytime i want to open it, it requires me to log into uplay. First of all, this doesnt work offline, which i use a lot, and second, IT NEVER REMEMBERS MY LOGIN INFO. Its honeslty deplorabele the state ubisoft leaves its legacy stuff in as well as their recent stuff. It's like they want us to pirate their stuff.
My friends and I bought Ghost Recon Breakpoint when it was put on steam, as we were fans of Wildlands that came out a few years earlier. Breakpoint has been out for years already, with Ubi originally refusing to sell it anywhere other than their own platform but eventually caved and put it up on steam for more sales. Well, we all bought it, and when I tell you the game just didn’t work, it just didn’t fucking work. For two of us the moment we actually started moving our character in game it would just immediately crash, no matter how many settings we changed or how many times we tried. We looked it up and found Reddit posts from TWO YEARS PRIOR talking about the issue, and an array of solutions that might work. We tried for a while, but could never get past initially moving our character without the crash. So awesome, Ubisoft games are so fun and awesome. Awesomely broken.
Funny enough, this isnt only Ubisoft issue, its also EA and Origin, I have Battlefield 3 for ages but downloaded recently (Couldnt download when I bought it due to storage issues) and its been asking for a activation key on Origin even though it detects both on Steam and EA Play that I got it, money well spent-
This happened to me with uno, because it no longer can run the uplay servers the game no longer functions on xbox so i bought it and a month later it just cant run and closes. Its been like that now for a year or two
I came to see what this was and I stayed for the constant relatable takes on modern bad sequels that only get worse and lead to confusion and brokenness
Me and my brother were playing Far Cry 5 for like a week, one day we tried hopping back on to continue our story and we, for the life of us, couldn’t get back into a game together cause of some error; we uninstalled and haven’t touched it since Ubisoft really does shoot themselves in the foot when it comes to simple things like invites and UI
