hi , I have 5 * R730 comes without Hard Drives , so i try to install SAS drives and they are not detected at all, only detect Sata Hard Drives, any solution ?
Can R730 boot & run HDD (with linux & KVM installed) from R720 without re-installation? I got broken R720 and would like to upgrade to R730 or even R740 if it is compatible to recover my data.
Can you please tell how to connect SSD JBOD to Dell PowerEdge R730. There is already aan internal RAID controller PERC730 installed. What additional hardware is required to connect the above mentioned JBOD? Thanks in advance

dell h830 hba is what you need, 8ports at 12Gbps so a max throughput of 96Gbps on the raid front depending on config

0:40 i use partiton wizard to test disks but nice to learn there is also an integrated option
