Praise God ....Yes we - as Christian's are called to "act as salt of the earth". as you said; our prayers will restrain Corruption! just as the function of salt is to preserves (the meat) and to give flavour(make it acceptable for God) So our prayers for our Community, it's Leaders is one way we can show Gratitude to God ( to act as Salt in our Nation).
Just as the righteous in Sidom "could" have saved the whole city.
When Abraham bargained with God to save Sodom IF there were only 10 righteous found! (Genesis 18:) God gave Abraham the assurance that if he found 10 righteous people in the extremely wicked City of Sodom - He would have spared the whole City for the sake of the 10 righteous. So those righteous people's Function was to be = Salt !!!
I heard this from my ( Teacher - who has now gone to God) Derek Prince Ministries, in his lectures on /Showing God Gratitude pt4/5 "Act as Salt of the Earth".
The message was to find someone, join a Community who is = standing up being righteous, someone of Integrity, living a Righteous Life -- that is you, your Prayer Storm to me. Amen

Prayer storm can you pls book a bigger venue for the upcoming conference with james Kawalya. You are limiting us when you put us on a waiting list. I’m sure you can get a larger venue to accommodate more people. Helloooooo and getting hold of your phone no is impossible. We had to cancel our original venue in order to facilitate the increase in ticket sales and interest from around the world in attending our conference in March. However, due to restraints on available venues in Manchester ,the current one we booked is the largest that we could and we are not able to increase our capacity at this point in time. Pouring out our lives for Jesus would be a more appropriate title for this talk. The content is always strong and biblical but wisdom is required for what expressions we use as some can have a negative meaning…
