Triangle of Sadness is the Most Chaotic Films I've Seen in a While - First Watch Reaction

First watch reaction to Triangle of Sadness. This was the first reaction I ever recorded and so I apologize for the confusion positioning of the movie on screen and some echos with the audio.
In this 2022 satirical dark comedy directed by Ruben Östlund, we follow model/influencer couple Carl and Yaya, on a luxury cruise for wealthy Europeans. The cruise takes a chaotic and eventually horrific turn, turning the social hierarchy upside down.
After watching the movie and researching the cast, I sadly learned that Charlbi Dean, who portrayed Yaya, passed shortly after the release of the movie. May she rest in peace.

Thank you so much for reacting to this, it really gives food for thought, and is very funny! Do check out Force Majeure and Play, by the same director Ruben Östlund, they are also very interesting. Force Majeure is dark and funny and Play is based on true events, pretty dark.

Man, I love this film. It’s one of the funniest films I have seen in yeaaaars, but also incredibly tightly crafted, with layers and meaning. Seriously, what a film.

It seriously is! It was so much more than what I was expecting. I noticed even more stuff as I was editing it and I spent a long time with this video as I hit a lot of restrictions with it. There's a lot of hidden meanings even with how the scenes are set up. I feel like it's one of those movies that no matter how many times I'll rewatch it, I'll pick up something new.

ToS is one of the best films of the decade.
Its bizarre how it doesn't garner more attention,, not least from the 'reactors'. Did they not get the 'go signal' to watch it yet?
