Naezy is still a conscious rapper (talking about real issues). Younger naezy or his old self was truly gifted. He had nothing to lose. Tbh we still haven't found someone of that calibre. He inspired me and many others to write. The movie gully boy did ruin his career. He said in an interview that he told Zoya Akhtar that it's too early to make a movie on the scene. He was out from the scene for a year. When he came back his style had changed, his flow was not the same. His voice and music had matured but perhaps not good enough. He got unwanted fame and was judged and trolled. Even today we can see the amount of hate he recieves in the comment section. I personally think he still has it in him lyrically.
