AMEN sister re: using the phone over pen and paper during this season of life. I'm the same way! When my baby was 2 going on 3 (he's 3 and a bit now), I was able to reincorporate pen and paper. But my phone is still a go-to for stuff.
Yes! It’s such an adjustment 😅 But like you said, it’s just a season of life. Good to know returning to pen and paper isn’t too far away…
Hi Kristen! Super excited about your planners! Who doesn't love a planner for WRITERS?! My question is, could you show the planners in a physical form in one of your upcoming videos? I can't decide if I'd prefer a flexible cover or hard cover. I would also love to see the difference layout-wise between just the straight worksheet one vs the one with the brainstorming/journaling pages. Thank you so much! Love these writing videos (and congrats on gorgeous Ivy!).
Absolutely! I actually just posted both a Reel on IG and TikTok of the physical planner so you can see the layout closeup! 😊 My handle for both platforms is authorkristenmartin ❤
Also I should mention that the interior layout will look exactly the same between paperback and hardcover since they’re both 6x9 in size. I’ll definitely make more reels/TikToks showing the covers and interiors 😊 And I’ll show that in a future video as well! 🎉

Thank you! ❤ Yes, the one featured in my TikTok/Reel is the softcover version. The hardcover does not lie all the way flat because of KDP’s limited binding options for hardcover, but you can (eek!) bend the spine to make it lay mostly flat 😅
