  • Does your vehicle have aftermarket LED turn signals and you're getting a bulb error message and/ or hyperflash? You'll need to install load resistors to correct the issue.

    Thank you so much bro I wasn’t able to find anything about this . I have this issue on my truck I swapped to led bulbs and now it’s hyper flashing

    Nice informative video! So do i only need the two..one on each side rear or do i need four one in each corner front and rear..or does the rear control the front as well? Thanks

      You need a load resistor for every turn signal light you replace.

  • @ThelifeofBigJody
    @ThelifeofBigJody 9 месяцев назад +1

    So would the load resistor go between the tail light running lights or the signal for the turn signals

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  9 месяцев назад

      You just need it on the signal lights.

  • @9ballz
    @9ballz Год назад +9

    ....AND, you no longer have the hyper flash function to tell you that a bulb is actually burned out.

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  Год назад +1

      Yes we do, there's no load resistor on the front bulbs. If the front burns out it will hyperflash again. The upfitter installer rear LEDs, how else would you do this installation?

    • @9ballz
      @9ballz Год назад +1

      I stand corrected. When I made my post I was thinking I could replace the flasher relay with a solid state relay. You mentioned BCM control but I missed that. So I'm in the same boat with my 2020 Silverado. Changed everything with Lasfit except rear signal running bulbs. Now I need to add those crappy resistors.

    @AnthonyJ350 what are ur thoughts on the tried and true Sylvania LED load equalizer resistor, and it comes with T-tab splice that u can cramp them between ground wire and a resistor wire?

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  7 месяцев назад +1

      They're fine, I would just solder your connections and not use the t-taps. The t-tap cuts the wire and exposes the wire to the elements.

    • @toyotabrony
      @toyotabrony 7 месяцев назад

      @@AnthonyJ350 nice. I’m not a fan of cutting nor I would never cut at all.
      To me using T-tabs is a better solution > cutting and soldering.
      Although I can agree it is expose to the elements.
      But even if it’s exposed, it’s covered with T-tabs and u rarely heard this issue of wires gettin possibly corroded.
      How about the alla lighting - with load equalizer resistor and turn them into plug and play version that came whatever to either 3157, 7443, or 1156? Instead of T-tabs.
