I visited Likely for the first time last year. The village was hosting a fair of sorts in this "downtown" area. Everyone was having a good time. Terrific video!
Last Saturday, we just rode the “back way” from Quesnel to Vanderhoof, BC… what trip! We came back through Beaverly turned off on the Blackwater Road back home to Quesnel… 400 kms round trip… one day… fantastic ride!
Good Video, Back When I was 14 Our Father took us on a camping trip there, thoroughly enjoyed it even tried panning for gold, but the road going there for the last few miles was large sharp gravel, glad to see some pavement now & what it currently looks like...
I've watched all your videos and check for new releases most days. I'm waiting for the opportunity to take more time off of my work and ride some of your easier routes and build up the confidence to tackle some harder ones. Thank you for regular content!
Next time be sure check out Ghost Falls (2 of them) outlet of Ghost Lake near the Rec Site, one of the route’s highlights. Also it’s Keithley Creek not Keily Creek. Great content, thanks!
Where do you live. I am in Prince George and have been to Barkerville many times. I have not been on the back way from Likley. I didn't realize it was in reasonable shape Thanks for the video
@@AdventureMine2022 Gee, i thought you might try a backroads trip to McBride or Purden Ski hill/mountain once in Barkerville ? Probably no gas stations around ?
@@rscott2247 There is gas in Wells, but I don't see any roads through the Columbia mountains and McBride was not in the direction I'm headed. Lots more to explore up there!

I really liked Likely. Wasn't on my wish list but the lodge, the people, the setting were all fantastic. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Sounds amazing. I loved the riding there.
kind of nice seeing RUclips videos from where I live
Was great riding that area. I will have to come back.
It is delightful to observe the transformation of the same house over time.
Yes. When you see how little is left of Stanley, you appreciate what they've done with Barkerville more.

Glad you enjoyed it. Big tourist attraction now, though I was lucky to hit it on an off day.

Hey Peter, glad you like. More to come on this trip north.
Great video! Inspired me to drive the Blackwater from PG to Quesnel this past Sunday and check out all the lakes and rec sites on the way.
Sweet!
Good video!! Rode through lots of mud and didn't lay your ride down one time!!
Thanks. That whole trip through the north was great riding.
Barkerville is a true gem. Tip: we’d love to see a picture of your meals. ☺️ Especially at the Barkerville Bakery. Best LongJohns on earth.
That bakery is very well stocked!
@ ☺️ It’s our first stop every time we go there. 😂
Nice video. I did the trip a few years ago. I went the other direction. I was lucky to have warm dry weather.
Very nice! I loved that route and Barkerville was cool.
Very Good Video😊
Thank you! Cheers!

Ghost falls was on my list but I was too cold and the timing was bad. Yes, Keithley. Hard to read Gia microprint when bouncing along.
Sad to see the closures along the way, but still a nice leisurely ride on the right bike! KLR??
My bike is a Yamaha Tenere 700. Fantastic bike for my style of riding. It was a great ride.
Fun video, I like how you mixed in old pics of way back when with your trip footage. You liking your T7?
I love it! And you have to get creative when you've lost most of your shots!

Vancouver. The backroad is in very good shape, but still about three hours. Glad you liked!

@@rscott2247the signs from the north on the Willow N FSR indicated a bridge out.
Looks like an awesome route, thanks for sharing. Not sure how to download the Google drive version of the file, is there a way to get a .gpx?
I was so shockedwhen I came across comet creek resort.
It was unexpected. Tough place to run a resort!
