If recruiters from recruiting agencies on LinkedIn invite you for a call without providing details about a specific role, it seems strange. I don't want to waste my time scheduling calls for potentially non-relevant roles, but I don't want to miss potential opportunities. The first time I asked for details, and didn't get any response. Is it common for recruiters to discuss roles over a call only without providing information, or it's a potential scam?

It's uncommon. Nice people will respond to you and explain a reason behind it if they can't share details for some reason.
I would agree with you and not waste your time on those unique cases as mostly they will not get you any result.

these third parties companies who offer job verification do their job reckless. my friend faced with the problem that they called first during the night because of the different time zones and second they'd got wrong number - it wasn't even his previous company. luckily he got this offer because he's provided all the numbers and documents by himself.
