The lap was just too good, he came.
It actually looks sped up through the Porsche curves
This guy should've been an f1 champion, his raw speed deserves at least 1 f1 title, shame f1 is about politics now and not talent..
He wasn’t that good in F1. He’s had some moments just like every driver but nothing special.
Japanese drivers have always been blistering quick over one lap, they just don’t seem to be able to do it for a whole season of races.
nah. he was good but i dont think he would be able to beat drivers on the level of hamilton, verstappen, alonso etc in an f1 car
DuderMcBroBlaster Better than Stroll
Zack P. With F1 ,it’s all about being with the right team and the right time.
"...on a flyer." Subtle understatement. I've watched this maybe 10 times now and am still mesmerized by it.
Awesome commentary and an unbelievable lap. Kobayashi was underrated in F1.
That lap was mental
It's hard to get those times even in games
Japanese "Speedy Gonzalez"!
aldean29 the fastest lap in le mans belongs to Pedro Rodríguez he make 3:13.9 in 1971 with a Porsche 917k
Adrian Rodgz he died on norisring, didnt he...
Instead of Sato his kamikaze lap ends well
Adrian Rodgz May different circuit layout !?
"Japanese" ya say???? Hmmmm......
When talent meets timing. Perfect setup, and perfect execution.
Absolutely perfect. How, how can anyone give this a thumbs down???
Probably won't get beaten for a loooooooooooooooooong time!
That's what they all say
@@callmelito1824 and its true
@@oliversrensen8490 Meh. They'll beat it again in a year or two.
@@callmelito1824 they'll beat it once the lmp-gt's start to get fast
Yup especially since P1 class is going byebye
You guys need to look up Kobiyashi vs Alonso battle formula 1!
"What a kamakazi lap" says the commentator on Kobayashi. LOL
The commentary on this is absolutely brilliant well done
Sam Hancock should do more commentary work. As a racing driver he really knows his stuff and he puts it across as well as anyone Ive ever heard.👍
1:11 nerves of steel
omg look at the speed, at the acceleration out of the chicanes it's just incredible! :o
And the braking power is just as ridiculous omg!
Yeah it was ayt, not as good as my corolla though.
or my Corsa. ^^
Have you seen F1? More ridiculous than LMP1! :D
Angga Pratama f1 is expected. Seeing it in le mans is just more exciting
Angga Pratama
Dude. I don't care much about childish comparison here.
I enjoy what i see and i see this is impressive and just say it. Who cares F1 lmp1 or even fucking Voyager 1 is faster, break the speed of light and bend the universe.
Living your life always comparing stuffs with another will forbid you to truely enjoy it.
That was a kamakazi lap with some banzai moves.
Fucking quality comment!
1:33 "I have an amazing car fastest thing you'll see it's a Porsche 911 rsr eat my dust"
Car overtakes.
"Was that a fancy Toyota Prius that just flew past me??
@Winnerx7 Shapeshifter well it is a Toyota hybrid haha
Best part is the dash can and talking about the track. Based on title and channel amazing job sir not big into racing but this was crazy and actually interesting to watch!!
i have only driven that track in video games but i can relate to what the dude is saying so much lol
especially the relief of getting onto the power after you clear arnage feeling like you basically stopped
