The 2018 Rom Fire: How I Survived

Here's a short film we put together about the fire at Rom a few weeks back and the impact that it has had on the park.
In this heatwave we're currently now in the midst of, it's easy to forget that in a few months time we'll be back in the depths of our typical British weather which means long, cold, dark wet days.
Now that Rom doesn't have any indoor facilities at all it's vital that we work quickly to get funding to help the park through this period.
We're working with various authorities and partners to help us, but we need your help - PLEASE share this film with as many people as you can on your timelines - we need to make sure it gets in front of the right people; the decision makers at the various funding organisations and bodies, to show them how important the park has been, not just for the users over the past forty years, but how it can be for the next forty as well.
Time is really of the essence now...

I was there at the 2018 rom jam not long after the fire it was amazeing how quick rom was up and running again good on ya guys 🤘

Gutted to see this, was my home back in the day, early eightees, pk rippers, haro freestylers, skyways, many fun times.. Welling up jus thinkin about it, lost my front teeth to it and still thought it was the coolest place.. Will always live on in my head and heart :)
