My daughter stirred two eggs with shredded cheese in the Easy Eggwich for 1 minute and it came out well and pretty much evenly cooked. Thank you for doing your reviews. She likes the Easy Eggwich due to lightweight and easy portability for cooking eggs at work in a minute.

Great job.. I've used the coffee mug when I was a kid and wasn't allowed to use the stove. But that was for scrambled eggs. I stirred it about half way through. Very easy and very fluffy scrambled eggs that way.

Good review, but I think you should try just breaking the yolk. Not scrambling the egg and not putting milk in it. That will give you more of the egg Mcmuffin type egg. Don't get me wrong I don't mind a scrambled egg patty but I prefer the fried/steamed type of egg.

Milk? That's the cause of your eggsplosions in the microwave. From my expierence, just a little water makes fluffier eggs and no eggsplosions. Also for your microwave egg needs I suggest the Nordicware egg products. I have them all and had great results with them.

I bought a stonewave, not because I couldn't cook an egg in the microwave in any old thing, but because of the handle. That way I can use it at work and not need to find an oven mitt or something. And I like that it's wider than a mug and has a lid, too.

They still carry them and they are still less than $2.00. My husband uses it about three mornings a week. It doesn't make a mess and nothing sticks.

I recently found your channel and I really like your videos. For this one, the only thing I would do differently is instead of milk, use water. Water fluffs up more because as it cooks, it creates steam. I use the water trick In both in the pan and microwave. Omelette in a pan with water instead of milk is my person favorite way to make eggs. The fluffiness makes you feel like you are eating more even though it is still just one egg.

Only used about 6 times so far but food turning out great. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxK2YRU9uBOXzuIEV660Qo3sX7dJDJLg72 Nice tender roasts. You do want to get a lid to go over your stock pot to keep water from evaporating. I've used it for 6-48 hours with lots of luck. A lot is trial and error to figure out since thickness and cut help determine the best time. 135 always gives a perfect med (pink all the way through). I cooked frozen solid 3 1/2" roast for 48 hours ... it was so tender its almost falling apart. Nice to put it in and just forget about it, with silicone lid I didn't have to add water at all during 48 hours.

I use the Easy Eggwich (EE). I cube a potion of Hatfield ham and cook it alone in the EE for 45 seconds and then drain the water out. Then place a broken egg on top of the ham and cook together in the EE for another 45 seconds. It dumps out nicely onto toasted bread, bagels, or English muffins. But the bottom red half of the EE gets nasty looking after using it alot in this manner.

I very much appreciate you doing these testings. Although I loathe eggs in any form, I cook them for others. These micro egg cookers are 'unitaskers' (per Mr. Alton Brown, aka: Mr. Good Eats). I think (as you showed) a mug or bowl you have kicking around will easily do the trick (maybe for the mug it could have a time adjustment or something). I think gadgets like this are a ridiculous waste of money; an egg can be cooked on a regular pan in a minute. I'm not dissing your testings and reviews - I'm just flabbergasted at how and why would anyone spend a penny on these unitasker gadgets. Please everyone! Don't waste your hard-earned money on stupid things. @Freakin' Reviews, keep the testings coming! :)

Just pop a whole egg in with no milk and if you don’t like the yolk in one space just pop it so it spreads a bit but you’re just making more work for yourself by scrambling it like that.

If you're going for "Egg McMuffin", the only one that turned out right was unstirred. McMuffins are a twist on eggs Benedict... Which is a poached egg... Which would have a whole yolk... Just like a McMuffin.
...you can also pour the eggs in a sandwich sized ziptop bag, and just lay it flat in the microwave. The bag will "pop" open when the egg is cooked thru.
Works like a charm if you're making your sandwich on regular bread.

We were at McDonalds one morning eating breakfast and I mentioned how the Egg McMuffin was the perfect symbol or our friendship. It consists of an English Muffin, Canadian bacon and American cheese. The Canadians were like "That's not bacon, it's ham!" the English friend said "That's just a plain muffin and the cheese is called Kraft." I was like "Fine, f*ck you all!"

The first one you did not stir so it cannot be compared with the rest? However it could have been tested as a Poached Egg had you used water not milk as that is only one of the 3 options of cooking eggs in this? I personally also add salt and pepper when I cook eggs and do not use muffins but prefer toast which means I can have 2 eggs. (You did not try that option?
Also the first one the yolk was over cooked? This probably means that you were using a higher powered microwave so should have reduced the cooking time. (Something you always have to do when buying something new unless they have the exact same micro wave you do and the same size eggs and the same amount of water/milk

Perhaps you should have egsplained that the egg in a breakfast sandwich is normally a just cooked round of scrambled egg which is why you added the milk? As such they should have all been mixed the same to get an equal comparison? No 1 was out because you used water (Poached egg) and over cooked? No 2 Again over cooked? No 3 looked fine, No 4 you whisked a lot more than the others so became more aerated? You would have got the same effect had you whisked the others as much? I also could not be bothered with an oven glove and a tea towel to be able to carry it when cooked? No 5 was a cup with No 4's lid so not surprised it failed although it proved the point about more whip meant a taller finished egg, I suspect that cooked at a lower power the eggs would have given a more even shape? No 6 came out OK because you put the paper lid on to hold in the steam which stops it cooking to fast? I like cooking eggs in plastic as they are normally easier to clean afterwards. I cook scrambled in the microwave. (Until I get Stoneware pans). Poached I tend to use a pan with water and vinegar (I bought a purpose made thing with a divider that holds 4 cups? I do not like the cups because although plastic they keep sticking? Until I get something loaf of bread shaped and size to hold 2 eggs) I use the pan

There's no need for special gadgets to cook microwave eggs. Spray straight edge coffee mug with Pam. Stir 2 eggs with 2 tablespoons of milk (& a dab of butter and cheese optional). Cook 1". STIR again. Cook 45 sec. Take out, cover and let sit till thoroughly done (approximately 1") . Eggs should just slide out of mug. I usually can slice 3 portions from this recipe. Yes, do toast the English muffins while the eggs are cooking. The main flaw with this testing is the varying of the ingredients.

The absolute easiest was to do this is using Eggbeaters and put 1/4 cup in each eggwich. I have a bunch of them and make it every morning. It's good, quick and easy cleanup.

"You still have to do the work, you have to toast the muffin....." Nevermind that someone before McDonalds came around probably baked their own muffins made from scratch, collected eggs from the barn, made fresh cheese over the weekend..... I think flavor is key. I was curious about McDonald's eggs.... are they powdered or dried or just not in the shell when they arrive?

I didn't even know you could add milk to the egg. But I don't get what it does if mixed with the egg? Softer? Tastier?

I poke the yolk a few times. No stirring.

Ok, a little late here but I don't understand why he puts milk in when the egg is not stirred & wondering if that contributed to the poor result. I started this years ago with a stoneware ramekin the diameter of an English muffin. Stirred egg had greater potential for exploding so no stirring and pierced the yolk to avoid potential burns if it pours out of the sandwich. As regards the prep, I go 30 sec, remove, top with cheese and Canadian bacon, another 30 sec, done. Toast the English muffin while egg is in the mic. Since the ramekin broke, I'm using the Oxo Good Grips Microwave Egg Cooker which has a detachable bottom for sliding the contents onto the muffin, but the diameter is wider than the muffin :(

you don't have to use cooking spray so that may have been the issue with first egg.

With all microwave egg cookers you need to puncture the yolk sack otherwise it just explodes like a lot of these examples. Stirring is the best option.

You need to toast your english muffins, and cheese first, then egg, then top with Canadian bacon. Great video

If you have a whole yolk; a small pin hole in it will keep it from exploding like your first trial.

Why are you adding milk to all these tests? The eggs will be more consistent, and not as stuck to the container without the milk.
