Ugh, the ectopic pregnancy one really pissed me off. You’re so in denial that your child could be sexually active, a completely normal act that everyone engages in, that you’re literally risking her life

i may not a doctor.but every person who denied the doctor in this video is making my blood boil
i have a close friend of mine that believe in sorcery. several years ago his wife had a wound from a motorcycle accident that could be easily treated by a medical expert. but he instead refuses all of our advice listen to a shady person who he believe as a "sorcerer". he treat his wive based on what a sorcerer told him to. he dump a bucket of riverbank sand and then close the wound with a banana leaves. he'll do it everyday just what the sorcerer told him. but instead of getting better she had a major infection all over her body but he still insisted that she'll be alright in no time (which mind you, she's not).
after getting allot of advice from us and even from his own family. he finally willing to get his wife to the doctor. the doctor said that his infection is already to big to be treated and this infection are already out of hand. after hearing it he start to lecture the doctor about the sorcerer magic and told the doctor that the sorcerer told him that she'll be fine which then the doctor finally replies with "fine, you do what you do" after a long time arguing with him and gave him a consent form.
his wife died 2 weeks after the consent form was signed. and the most stupidest part is when he said that he'll no longer believe in doctor anymore
P.S: sorry for my broken english. i'm from indonesia and *yes* it is common for people to believe in magic over a long studied medical studies that've saving a million life each year

People emote first and think last at the best of times. This is part of why active thinking takes real time and energy. It's WORK...
      Cognitive dissonance, is a psychological sh*t-storm that disrupts human mental functions when basic beliefs are directly challenged by hard evidence and facts. Most times, an episode of serious cognitive dissonance will only result in a person lapsing back closer to their beliefs, in spite of tangible evidence and concrete facts to prove otherwise. {You know, like real science and stuff}
THUS... Direct and positive advice rarely (if ever) has positive net results when applied to people. They simply do not respond well. They prefer to cling to their beliefs and emotional crutches, rather than face the terror of simply not knowing what's beyond the figurative veil of unknown (since science often requires some pioneering to the individual)... AND no matter the level of expertise, the advice might as well be shouted at the top of your voice at a wall for all the good it tends to do.
It's sad and it often sucks the life out of you if you let it. Psychological manipulation can be employed to get some of the effect you desire, but nothing is a perfect "fix" for this kind of situation. ;o)

There are actually laws about it for interstate travel (which vary by state), but even so, lots of individual facilities won’t let your horse off the trailer until they have those documents.

She got Covid like 4 months ago because during the whole pandemic she thought it was an overreaction and there was no danger. She didnt want to wear masks and she traveled ALOT. like every other month took a plane somewhere. And so she was super shocked when her, her husband and her daughter all got Covid.
Her daughter got it first and no joke, she was ANGRY with her daughter because they were supposed to "go to Las Vegas tomorrow ". And then she got it and was in the hospital for 2 months. The whole time posting on Facebook about how "serious and horrible" the virus was.
Shes been out for 2 months now but is still out of work and on oxygen almost constantly.
AND SHE IS STILL TRAVELING. because now that shes not in the hospital and cant get pity anymore, the virus isnt a big deal again.

I heard a story about a man who was in the middle of the ocean drowning. He prayed to God for help. Three times, a boat came by and someone offered to help him, but he said "No, God will help me!" Eventually, the man died. He went to Heaven, and approached God to ask "Why didn't you help me?" God replied "I sent you three boats, what more do you want?!"
The moral of this story is that you shouldn't deny help because you believe God will help you, because for all you know, he is sending you that help but you refuse to accept it.
P.S. I'm not religious, I am a person of science. I have yet to see proof whether or not an entity like God exists, so I do not have an opinion on the topic. I am merely explaining to religious antivaxxers why their reasoning makes no sense.

Haha, i know my body and i know that pain is no indicator for anything. Not even the lack there of. After an accident i first pat myself down to find anything obvious out of order.
That comes from the experience of doctors searching my knee cap and then noticing that 1 tendon isn't there anymore either.
I was lying there fresh from dropping because: hint my tendon completely ripped so one of my leg had no stability whatsoever. But at that moment i didn't even know that, i just knew that i needed to piss. And that my leg felt totally wobbly. Oh and also my ankle hurt. But the knee? Just felt wobbly and bend weird. (It wasn't actually bend it just felt like that because the normal amount of tension provided by the missing tendon wans't there anymore.)
So i got an MRI they found the knee cap, and the reason they had to search for it. Well, it's usually held by 3 tendons and 1 of them was now in 2 pieces, so one side wasn't held anymore whatsoever.

Was not going to post at all, but how the x does one come up with soda (salt) building up calcium ?? (wherever, I have not heard of any concept, precept or other formula in which one can produce the other.)
Hell some people need to read up on vaccines. The earliest ones use monkey kidneys (Polio), but the filters used to filter out bacteria still caused illnesses, which led to scientists discover viruses. (A virus being way smaller as the smallest bacterium, could get through the filter.) However relatively early on, human cells from aborted fetuses were used. Cell strains. Was it not strain wi-38 ?? (Specially after the Simian crap came to loght SV-40 etc.??) People, there are books out in the open, that explain basics in regard to medicine. (Try reading stuff like "The Vaccine Race" by Meredith Wadman)
