I'm not very well informed but Mafumafu (the producer of this song) had some health issues recently, but it seems he is getting better now. In this video I played the audio from both games (the 2 videos before were only the MEGA39's audio) so there is a bit of echo but it's fixed for tomorrow's video (I synced the audio from both games on the same exact frame)
That's a bit because of the song they chose. Most are fast and energetic so they end up with difficult charts (the PPD charts are also hard so it proves a bit that it's because of the song). But that's not all the new charts though, Catch the Wave doesn't seem very difficult and I thought Hibana would have been much harder than what it is.
Both charts have some nice ideas that the other didn't have, but I do like the placement of the notes and the attempted happy map of the official one, so...
I made my own chart for Jigsaw puzzle because I'm a poor loser who can't do the only chart released on PPD There are a lot of similarities in mine and the others like 0:28 - 0:33 (ppd chart), 0:37 - 0:39 (official chart), 0:50 - 0:52 (ppd chart), 1:09 - 1:11 (ppd chart), 1:20 - 1:23 (ppd chart), 1:27 - 1:28 (ppd chart duh), 1:34 - 1:34 (ppd chart) (also had 2 linked x and o's), 1:40 - 1:42 (ppd chart), 1:51 - 1:59 (same hold placements) (ppd chart), 2:06 - 2:07 (both charts), 2:25 - 2:35 (ppd chart) (alternating notes), 2:43 - 2:46 (ppd chart) 2:58 - 3:03 (ppd chart), 3:07 - 3:09 (ppd chart), and 3:20 - 3:24 (ppd chart), so I guess that proves that 2 PD players make very similar charts when attempting to create them I will create an account for the sole purpose of releasing the chart if enough people ask me to lol
I don't think the results screens adds a lot to the video, they can show a comparison between the scores and the total amount of notes but PPD doesn't count the score and the number of notes the same way as Project Diva so the comparison doesn't mean much there. I like the PPD chart because I think it looks good and it is better synced with the voice, but it would have been better if it was a bit harder and had the spams at the beginning of the song.
@@solidus4prez You can just look at the combo count on the last note since I only show perfects. The problem is that Project Diva counts multi-notes as 1 but PPD counts every button press separately (so multi-notes count for 2, 3 or 4)
I remember you, you asked this on my video for my Self Destruct chart. I answered you the first time you asked but it's possible that you didn't get a notification because the comment has links in it. I linked tutorials to the PPD editor. Those are a bit outdated though. It can be a bit difficult to get started but once you figured out the editor it's not very hard. You just need patience because it can take a few hours. To make things easier, there is an updated version of the editor that is more practical to use than the base version, but the download link to it is in the PPD discord server. I know it can be a bit troublesome to create a discord account just for that but if you already have one I can only recommend you to get this updated editor. Also, your first few charts may not be very good but don't worry too much about it, you'll get better over time. You can look at how the good charts (official or from PPD) are made to get an idea of what you should do and where to place the notes on the screen. And if you simply wanted to know how to get more songs from other charters, you can download them from the PPD website. Just know you have to download the chart and the video separately and then put the video in the chart folder.
Oh i just wanted to find out why im stuck in base, but this will help me later, i couldn't publish my Ai Kotoba (first chart) because it has no difficulty thx, i'll check if i can join the discord servrr
@@sillykyuu In the top of the screen click difficulty then copy current difficulty. Choose the difficulty you want. If you want multiple difficulties copy it to every difficulty you want and edit them separetely by changing the difficulty in the top of the screen.
I don't know about exact system requirements but most computers can run it. If the game lags you can use lighter skin mods or replace the background video with just a picture. So I'd say just try to get the game and see how your computer supports it. (As far as I know the game is only available for Windows)

The official one does have lots of notes, but the order of the PPDs notes are confusing at 1:00 till the end of the chorus

Yes, if a hd video is too much you can download the video at a lower resolution instead
I mean when on actual gameplay i can just make the video to 720 but on gameplay lowering the window reso makes the game more playable right?
@@clawwver7128 You can also lower the game's resolution but most of the time if there is lag it's because of the background video of the song.
