Hands down. Vietnam definitely does not beat Thailand. Thailand is more modern and vibrant than Vietnam.
Welcome to Thailand ! have a nice trip, if you like mountain you can go to the North Chiang Mai,if you like the beaches, you can go to the South like Phuket,Samui,Krabi,or go to the East like Pattaya beach.These are popular places a lot of tourists.If you like quiet places like Ko Chang ,Koh Kood from the East, and Ko Kradan in the South.Anyway your guys stay in Bangkok, Pattaya beach and Hua Hin beach are not to far, for me I like Hua Hin beach ,it so relaxing family style vacation.

travel cheap is the best way for exploring thailand (and vietnam) staying away from the 5star life or tourist bubble really lets u emerge in the real country and food and customs. Even a 2-3 star hotel in bangkok have higher standard than many luxury hotels in west i would stay away from many "backpacker hostels" though because they often dont care of standard or cleanliness for naive backpackers Agoda is your best friend in Thailand anyway and of course take the regular busses and trains and street food is almost always better than restaurants in flawor and price
Yes that's right. Too many tourist get sucked in the 5 star life and miss the true culture. We want to make more videos about the real food and culture. Thailand is amazing for that. We will stay away from those hostels for sure 😊. Thank you

If you want to explore an old riverside city, unique food and a city with fruits like durian, Chanthaburi is the place you should travel to, I as a Thai person highly recommend you to travel there, it has it all ,Beaches with unusual views, local food, old town atmosphere and people, including cheap and interesting food.
If you are taking a bus in Thailand You have to raise your hand for the vehicle you want to take because there are many bus lines in Thailand. The driver will know that you want to get on the bus. He will stop to pick you up. .If you don't raise your hand, he'll think you're not getting on. He'll drive past and stop where someone raised his hand.😅😅😅

Yes by bus you pay in Thai baht when you get on. There is a person to collect he money and help you where you need to go. With skytrains we paid in cash at the station to the ticket office. Very easy
