Hello from 2023, love this song a lot
I was in a band in highschool and we played this concert called Buzzfest. ISS played that night too. I fangirled cause I loved the band and my guitarist and I went to knock on the door to their tour bus, Brent opened the door and I told em i loved ISS and asked if they could come check out my band... I didnt think it would happen, but half way thru the set, my drummer yells my name and points his drum stick to the side of the stage, ISS, the whole band, was there watching us and nodding their heads. that was the most memorable moment of that chapter. After the show, my guitarist and I went back to their tour bus and ISS invited us in. Devon was smashing chips and salsa and sittin next to a baddie, i sat across. I was too shy to touch the chips and salsa but it looked good. Brent was outside talking about aliens with Andrew. Fuckin amazing. I'm commenting this in hopes that they might remember and I just want you all to know how much that meant to me and I will always remember that. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed me and my band that night. It's been almost 10 years now

Can you guys be more open-minded? These people keep going on and on about how "if you remove the techno, they'd be a good metalcore band". No, just no. Can we stop defining things with set labels? Can we just enjoy any kind if music, no matter what it's labeled as? Or maybe that's just me, because i like rock/metal, but i also like dubstep/techno things. Maybe it's just because of that, i like ISS. I'm not sure anymore. But do you REALLY have to shame them for "mixing genres"?

i dont know why the fuck they would kick out Zach.. like Zach kind of in my opinion made the band for me. I love Devin his voice is amazing.. But without Zach there its just not the same.. and Jimmy will be missed as well I've been a fan since the beginning but i don't really like the new song that was released. I will not be buying it. Glad I saw you guys when Zach/Jimmy were in band.

They asked him to leave, they didn't really kick him out. Zach had a kid and wanted to take a lot of time off, and on top of that the band also wanted to shift away from a lot of screaming. And who knows, maybe they just didn't get along as well as you think behind the scenes, being on tour for years on end will take a toll on personal relationships. Their sound was becoming irrelevant pretty quick as well because synthcore fell off so quickly and died, they needed a change. Devin is no screamer, but I don't think that will matter soon enough.

Jeremy Castillo Think you missed the point... And synthcore has gotten pretty irrelevant over the past few years. Labels don't sign them, and all the bands that did it changed. Never said they were irrelevant, I See Stars have only stayed relevant because they have changed their sound multiple times to appeal to new audiences and new trends.
