    I really like seeing classic trucks like this well maintained and still in use

    Even with the engine off, the cab was noisy and echo-y! Can only imagine what it would be like, with the engine and doors and panels rattling, ear plugs are definitely a must. Great to see it so well preserved. Good video.

    You do a great job of explaining every detail about the machine. Very informative and helpful for a person that wouldn't know about a particular machine.

    Oh I know it's great to see old equipment like this still in use and well looked after. Loud is right, but that's what ear plugs are for! If I can catch it running, I will most definitely get a vid.

    Wow, amazing shape for just an old truck that was designed to work hard.

    Wow, awesome truck! Its old, unique, simple, and probably is a real work horse. The commentary and description were all very nice Justin, its adds so much to the video when you tell us about the history of not only the truck, but also the company that owns it. The truck is in great shape like you mentioned, and its really cool to get an idea of what the truck looked like back when it first started working. Thanks!

    Dresser Industries purchased the Payline from International, but the actual International Payhauler line went independent and manufactured off road haulers until the Payhauler line was purchased by Terex in 1998.

    That truck was made before driver comfort was even an issue. Looks as if it would be brutal to operate for eight or ten hours at a stretch. Gotta love your work, I guess!

  • @PAmining

    Layout is almost identical to a Euclid R-20, right down to the battery box location. Euclid could've taken IH to court for copyright infringement and won.

      Michael Oliver being a Ford guy you don't like Detroit Diesels because they were made by GM

    • @jhomrich89
      @jhomrich89 6 лет назад

      Michael Oliver the old 2 stroke Detroit's were very reliable amazing cold start ability and rarely overheated. The drawback is they were noisy and because of the high compression nature of a 2 stroke they did indeed leak worse then a female on the rag, and according to some they used more fuel then others in their class.
