Regarding Searchlight and airports, Searchlight native Harry Reid now has his name on what was McCarran airport! I guess that never happened in the fallout universe (yes yes I know the name change happened after the game released 😛), though Camp Reid still sounds nice.
Great video chief, I wonder if there was supposed to be more here. Could've maybe tied into the boomers; going inside the airport to get flight training holotapes, fighting through ghouls trapped inside. Well, we'll never know.
Looking at the flier at the start of the game maybe these were part of Nellis AFB however the Boomers were xenophobic so would they have made it to here?
Considering the development socket of new Vegas I don't think those tanks have been throughout that much but if we want to extrapolate more explanation I would suppose they are water tank in case of emergency (especially in this tiny of a airport where they can't really put a big firefighting force) Really barren place without mod I wonder if it was suppose to be something more interesting
you said jets arent seen much in fallout (which is true ) but i think these jets are reused from the ones in fo3 on top of rivet city since it was an aircraft carrier which is interesting
Sorry I missed this comment. But I think you’re right. Eventually I plan to take this series to the Capitol Wasteland, so I’ll explore it more moving forward.
Kinda wish there was a unique weapon or something here, like if one of the jets had a gun that fell off and you could repair it and make it handheld.
That would be super cool!!

I am pretty sure you’re correct that there was supposed to be a lot more here. I like your idea a lot about it being tied to the Boomers!

@@BardDruidBarian idk man I was drunk out of tiredness
Sadly, this place is kinda boring, but the one you can go outside the borders of the map! At least something...
Yes, it is a very empty location which is unfortunate. But nonetheless I enjoyed exploring it!
Hey man I stumbled on your channel yesterday great vids 👌
Thank you so much! I appreciate it 🙏

likely AV fuel or jet fuel. av fuel is leaded unlike gasoline
Got it! Thank you so much for the info.
I love this place, in Dust fallout it's one of the possible edings due to the airplane that you can fix to escape the Mojave wasteland.
That is very cool! It truly feels like there was supposed to be more here!
great vids!
