For those of you complaining about lip syncing, on this live DVD they didn't use the real live vocals from the show, they just put the studio or iTunes session vocals in for most of the song. This DVD had a rush put-together. On another note though, Skillet does use some lip syncing live. They do on the Chorus and bridges of "Whispers in the Dark," "The Last Night," and "Awake and Alive." (These are the only songs I know for sure, there may be a few more.) For most of their show they do use real live vocals, and since they tour a lot I think it's ok if John, Jen, and Korey, use some lip-syncing so they can save their voices, and have more Skillet music for us in the future.

First, they do sing live, I seen them just over two weeks ago in Omaha, Ne. and they were definitely singing live. All live shows that are sold on DVD, or whatever, are edited for sound and vocals are usually dubbed over the live performance to sound better. For example, I was at the Carnival of Sins tour (Motley Crue) that was filmed for the DVD release in Grand Rapids, Mi. Vince Neil sounded horrible live as usual, yet he sang much better on the DVD. I was there, it was live, but they definitely dubbed over his vocals for the DVD. The same thing is happening here. Some of you need to chill.
I agree with you 100%. I saw Skillet earlier this year at the Orpheum in Madison, Wisconsin and they sing live. No mic overs or anything like that, Their shows are 100% legit!!!

There was definately some playback but you should also know that these microphones have a huge range...Most singers pull back the mic just to shout harder and hit the notes. Take for example M.Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold. He does that all the time, it's just a teqnichue
