This video shows how to Kodi shortcut on Amazon Fire TV home screen. This will enable you to easily launch Kodi from the Amazon FireTV homescreen icon. This tutorial should work on Amazon Fire TV stick as well. However, on the new Fire TV 4K 2015 the shortcut link won't open Kodi. There is no known fix for this. To accomplish this you will have to connect to your Fire TV with adbFire app (from jocala.com). Steps are detailed in my other video: • How to install Kodi on...
Once connected to AFTV, Select:
1. ikonoTV
2. Install Llama
3. kodi
4. Replace program icon
5. Link media center to program (does not work on the new Fire TV 2015)
on adbFire app and apply changes.

I did this on my amazon fire stick and work fine. But when I do same way in my amazon fire tv box it don't work you see kodi shortcut but it open ikonotv any help?? thanks

It's not available for the new fire tv yet. Use Firestarter.

why does it keep booting the ikono app instead of kodi? HELP!! I followed each step correctly still no luck!

please help me! when i open adb fire i dont see ikono tv when i start llama. also, i went through the process anyway and i have kodi icon on the home screen, but when i select it, ikono tv begins. ive tried rebooting my stick but that doesnt help.
