No other team was getting their riders to the people that much. All those demos and signings got so many people into skating. Not to mention the impact of their videos.
The Kenny Anderson V1’s were HANDS DOWN THE BEST shoes I had ever skated. Even buying multiple variations at once. They were THE longest/most comfortable/best looking shoe out there. I’ve tried many different types of shoes for boarding prior to that and the V1’s were the best out of them all. If you’re gonna name drop, then why don’t you mention Kenny’s amazing shoes?

I remember wearing pieces of gold on my feet in my teen years. 2017 can't find their website anymore.. seems they disappeared. Still.. all you say is bad, but let's not forget about all the good stuff they did. We have some breakthrough shoes and videos... and they were part of a great movement when it was still alive! Maybe they changed leadership, maybe they went soft... but when they were, they were great!

At least Adio was started by skaters. Nike, cons, adidas and new balance are the worst companies in skateboarding. Adio of course ruined a lot of guys potential but for others it opened a positive door for them. Nike did the same thing to Savier that adio did to their team riders. "Oh we're not making money so we're cutting the team". The only difference is, Nike somehow won the majority of the population over. Adio made good shoes, not as good as others but still. The "big 3" as I call them(Nike cons adidas) have closed more skateshops and ruined more lives than adio did, with bogus contracts that they can bend at anytime. These are the companies that need to be ran out of skateboarding. The same dudes that harassed older generations of skaters are now making money off of the younger guys that never faced such hazing. I love the videos though man, keep em coming!!

Anderson v.1 was the best shoe ever made. I would pay well over price to get my hands on a pair again. Dc has released the anderson v.1 under the name. DC Stag. Thinking of getting a pair. But the anderson shoes looked agressive and were super comfortable. I skated those things until they fell apart and then shoe gooed them together and skated them more. I miss this company so much wish they would bring them back. My go to now is globes. They are the only shoe that hasn't sold out or completely disappeared.

Adio disappeared but a few of the old designers created a new company called CALI Strong.
Have them in decent condition. Have them for like 10 years for regular walking. And they are one of my favorites.
