Such a bummer Adio ended up being a joke of a company. I only wore their shoes growing up until I started buying the "non poser" shoe brands like emerica, Es, and Lakai. I was introduced to skating from the tony hawk video games so that's all I knew at the time really hahah

Adio wasn't bad or a "poser company" back then. Imo shoes are shoes. I've seen guys skate in chucks, new balance (before they even thought of a skate team), nike (also before they had a skate team) if you have the skill, it doesn't matter what shoes you have. I skated in adio for a few years then switched to globes and still skate globe now. Don't skate as seriously as I used too back in 2001. ✌
