There are quite a few of these on the market. Although I always tell people that there is never a reason to buy anyone's broken down camera, that's what I've done here. I should be able to restore it to working condition.

I absolutely love mine. It did need some work before It was useable. The winding mechanism had become frozen, and required the clockwork to be removed and lubricated in order to free it up. One thing to be careful about is making sure to move the battery contact off of the battery if you're going to put the camera away for more than a few hours. The light meter will drain the battery within a few weeks, even when the camera is in its case.
The dial below the viewfinder is the aperture adjustment. If you pull the button out you can adjust the aperture manually, and won't need to use a battery. It's main use is for when using a flash.
I think that your example may have been dropped at some point. The back seems to have bent slightly, which is why it's not closing and opening easily, and why there is a gap at the top. You should be able to straighten it with thumb pressure to the inside of the back.
It also seems that someone may have disassembled the lens to make an attempt at fixing the shutter, but didn't reassemble it correctly. The shutter speeds should line up with the black line under the lens ring, and the lens should be able to be adjusted to infinity easily when it's assembled correctly.
