- All of a sudden the color on my canon camera went berserk. It was dull and boring. Nothing would fix it, and it was across all software apps.
I updated my OS a few weeks before I tried printing again so that issue didn't enter my thinking.
Then my friend at Photo Taco Podcast, Jeff Harmon, gave me an idea. Here's his blog post where I covers it.

Thank you Jeff! It all works great now. Watch the video to see this simple fix.
I'd put my printer up for sale as it was frustrating me, followed you video and hey presto it works again, thank you so much for this video
NICE! I'm so glad it worked for you too! Yes, frustrating indeed!! Keep at it, and I'll be releasing more printing related items this summer as well so stay tuned!
After struggling for ages with my Canon 9000 Mkii A3 printer, which used more ink than it produced prints, I gave up and bought an Epson eco-tank model - the 8550. Staight out the box and once set up it gave me superb prints that I had never managed to get with the Canon and my ink costs have dropped by an enormous amount. I suggest you do likewise!!
That’s great!
I have five epsons at work and a 9900 in my home studio. I’m certainly already on the way to getting rid of my last canon 🤩🤷♂️
I just have a bunch of ink I need to get rid of first.
Nice. Which of these two would you recommend?
Both are older (retired) printers, but if you had the chance to purchase a working model I'd go with the Pixma Pro 10. It's pigment inks and I prefer that for greater archivability. I'll probably be able to do a video on purchasing a printer in the coming months. I've been looking for a new smaller format printer (my other printer is 44" wide :) )
