Hey , so I’ve been buying a lot of mystery boxes on funko Europe and I’m wondering if some of the pins are fake? I’ve had duplicates and they look/feel different even if it’s from the same box and same order? I assumed they would all be 100% real because it’s funko official site! Also the backs did not look the same! I also bought these stitch ones from funko Europe and I got the shrugging one and the sat down one but they felt light and the back print wasn’t fully touching the sides! It’s so strange! I got these exact boxes from the same site as you so it’s really bizarre. It’s not the first time I’ve had these thoughts either
Hi there, thanks for watching! 👋 Ooh I can understand that that would be concerning. Have you tried contacting them? I wonder if it's a quality control issue 🤔 Their customer service was very good the time I had to contact them about something (I had a limited edition pop with a crushed box) and that was before I started YouTubing, so no one would have known if they didn't handle it well! I've just weighed my pins with my kitchen scales for you for comparison (pin only, with back on and no packaging) 😅 They are: Shrugging and little happy, hands out look - 7 grams Tongue out - 6 grams Definitely lighter than DLP pins but they're also smaller. The crown design on the back goes all the way across the pins but only comes halfway down them. I hope that helps - would be curious to know how you get on! (Also if you want some close up pics of mine for comparison send me a message on IG and I'll take some for you) 🤞🤞

I watched some videos of the stained glass princess ones I bought also and they look quite similar tbf, it’s just quite different from the box! I also have compared duplicates to each other and there are differences but they are slight. What’s your instagram? I’ll send you a message and if I can send you some pics of the ones I got today to see what you think about them? I’m quite new to pin collecting and I know the Loungefly ones are quite different to the DLP ones. I just got back from Disneyland Paris and bought quite a few pins and the quality is SOO good so maybe that’s why these are a bit underwhelming 😫

My IG is instagram.com/aristokat23 I think some variation would be reasonable, like perhaps the positioning of the crowns on the background as I imagine groups of the same design are stamped simultaneously (assuming that's how it happens 😂) and sometimes I've seen slight variation in enamel colour even in the Disney mystery pins that we've bought in blind boxes. But worth checking if you're not sure. Oh when were you at DLP? I was there last week, came back on Thursday! 😁 I love their pins, they are definitely a lot larger and heavier, the Loungefly pins are more similar in size to the pins at the American parks. What pins did you get while there? I picked up one in the new floral princess series and a couple of others that I can't remember off the top of my head 😂😂 I'll rediscover them when I do my DLP haul video 🤗 Managed to do a little pin trading while there too!
