I just can't get over how humble these guys look. Ira and Georgia look like they could be my parents and yet they rock out so fricken amazingly!
Wow I was just thinking they look like my grandchildren.... Was to make a guy feel old, Kris!
I met them while hugging the wall at a Sun Ra Arkestra show they played after in 2016, they were both super humble and kind. I asked if they were gonna play together and Ira hesitated and then winked and said “don’t worry you’ll see”. Later they had a few Arkestra memebers join them for an hour long drone swell kind of set that was pretty cool. It was so bizarre because they were just random audience members diggin the show next to me when It dawned on me and I was like “oh fuck, that couple in front of me are my heroes.”
Should be the 1st song on your car's stereo when leaving on a road trip. Love this.
Give it a beast mode to Ira Kaplan. Absolute killer solo. Makes me one to try some of his tricks. He's the real guitar hero.

Feels almost like a complimentary yet contrary retort to the sort of balance and acceptance of orders ability only to exist within and in harmony with chaos present in the main structure of the song, though I could be looking too hard into it lol

sometimes i look this video and i feel like this very guitar solo is the condensation of all those years and years of noise experimentation... wish i could have the chance to hear Ira play on a gig ... This solo gets me every single time.
that's how the ylt do though, buddy, they like the effects. this is easily one of the most amazing bands I've seen live in all my days. the albums never seem to do them justice after you see them in person. raw passion and emotive power, they are hard workers. I'll show up whenever they do :)
who the mother F dislikes this. I mean why even watch. I assume if you watched this video, you like YLT. That being said, this is a killer take of a good song with a vicious noise solo by Kaplan....just boggles my mind that anyone would dislike this,let alone 300 people
