I'm not a big fan of canon movies but in that case it makes sense. The part after the bomb devil arc is enough content for Season 2. With the Reze arc it would be too much to adapt

(but the arc needs to be around 2hours) Like the last two ep of AOT should have been a movie. Movies tend to do the traditional rising climax then resolution then ends. That is why you can't do that with volumes 7-8 of CSM. There are spikes of hype that would be great for cliffhanger on episodes. Also it is hard for movies to be introduced because some people walk in blind to movies. JJK was great for people that went in blind in because they did some explaining to anyone that didn't know jjk.

The choice to make this a movie is absolutely fantastic to be honest. It feels the most self-contained out of all the arcs in CSM, and I think the length of this arc would disjoint S2 in a weird way. I think this also allows Reze to get her time to shine as she fucking deserves. I'm so absurdly excited.
It still could’ve been an anime and not many would’ve bat an eye. I’m just glad there is more content. Not sure about disjointed considering the ending around volume 11. All of these things just connect back to one gigantic reveal by the end of Chainsaw Man part 1. To which, yeah they totally should make volume 10 and 11 a movie.

Absolutely hyped for this movie, this is my favorite arc of the entire manga,hopefully the animators are given time and can animate this movie beautifully.
Comparatively this arc is a short one to the rest of Part 1, and it happens to fit perfectly into movie length. Making this arc a movie means the rest of Part 1 can be done in a season, if they have the same chapter:episode ratio as S1.

This arc is totally different than everything I’ve read before. The immense emotions I felt while reading were just so strange. You’re happy, you’re sad, you’re devastated. It’s just a whole jumble of emotions and it is crazy. This teaser perfectly embodies the feel of a nostalgic and youthful love story. The slow music in the background is painful and the colors used. I can’t wait for this arc, it is my favorite arc and it changed the entirety of the manga. I’m so excited!!
I legit teared up when i saw her move. A movie is a good idea for the arc. Having people trying to get invested in a new character for multiple weeks would be going back into what happened in season 1. But that also means that the second season would start with an insane banger.

In my opinion, Chainsaw Man season 1 has the best anime adaptation, the really detailed background, the characters always moving, the amazing CGI, amazing coloring, the 12 different endings, the opening and it's osts, They put their heart and soul in this work, it was everything I hoped to be, I was very hungry for some of the actions and scenes to be animated while reading the manga, and Mappa fed us well, a little too well, this manga and anime is very special to me as it was the 1st manga I read irl instead of online in 2021.
Finally, my favorite arc will finally be animated into a movie as I had hoped. I really hope that MAPPA actually give their animators a good and healthy schedule with good working conditions because I really want them to reach their full artistic vision for this absolutely crazy arc. Thank you MAPPA animators and staff.

Bocchi the Rock (a SOL Comedy music anime, admittedly very good) beat it out in terms of blu-Ray sales which is indicative of success for most projects. Nonetheless the CSM manga is churning out tons of sales regardless so I’m hoping we will get the rest of it adapted anyways. Really excited for this film!!!

The music really captures the whole tone of the arc perfectly. It’s a beautiful and touching romance story of the first girl Denji has ever dated. And then the last ending beats repeat themselves with a sense of dread, reminding everyone watching that “Oh, yea. This is Chainsaw Man. This isn’t gonna end well.” Absolutely perfect.
I have not read the manga and I do not know who is so Reze yet, whether it is necessary to read the manga to understand the meaning of this film, or everything will be explained there.

1期が評判良くなかった原因にメリハリが無かったって要素が大きいと思う。全てをフラットにした結果多くのものを失ってたし。レゼ編全てを大きく区切って見て淡い感じがするのは分かるけど、全編淡い感じでフラットに整えられたらその整え分捨てざるを得ない味が出てくるから個人的には絶対やめて欲しい。
レゼ編は映画並みに美しくまとまってるって昔から言われてたが本当に劇場でやるのはマジで嬉しすぎる

This arc is totally different than everything I’ve read before. The immense emotions I felt while reading were just so strange. You’re happy, you’re sad, you’re devastated. It’s just a whole jumble of emotions and it is crazy.
This teaser perfectly embodies the feel of a nostalgic and youthful love story. The slow music in the background is painful and the colors used. I can’t wait for this arc, it is my favorite arc and it changed the entirety of the manga. I’m so excited!!

In my opinion, Chainsaw Man season 1 has the best anime adaptation, the really detailed background, the characters always moving, the amazing CGI, amazing coloring, the 12 different endings, the opening and it's osts, They put their heart and soul in this work, it was everything I hoped to be, I was very hungry for some of the actions and scenes to be animated while reading the manga, and Mappa fed us well, a little too well, this manga and anime is very special to me as it was the 1st manga I read irl instead of online in 2021.

Peak of Chainsaw Man is getting animated. I am so excited for this. Even though I would've liked a full season of this arc, I respect the staff's decision and just hope they do justice to this arc because it one of the best pieces of media I have ever consumed
the entire arc is only about 12 chapters, it would have been insanely slow paced and dragged out if put into a whole 12 episode season. a movie is perfect for this, then season 2 can finish off the rest of part 1

Bocchi the Rock (a SOL Comedy music anime, admittedly very good) beat it out in terms of blu-Ray sales which is indicative of success for most projects. Nonetheless the CSM manga is churning out tons of sales regardless so I’m hoping we will get the rest of it adapted anyways. Really excited for this film!!!

年に一つのアニメじゃ評価されないし話題にもならない。制作会社のネームバリューが視聴の第1条件になっているから、定期的に名前を知ってもらうためにハイテンポで作り続けなければならない。そう言う風潮ができてしまっているし、それを打ち破るために足掻くことも出来ない程、社内の人達は疲弊してる。
それが常態化してる事こそが何よりの元凶なんだ。
本来なら年に1作品でも会社を回せるくらい、作品に対する報奨が無ければやってらんないんだ。
にも関わらず俺たちオタクはアニメを一過性の流行り物として消費し、よっぽどの話題性が無ければ後世に語り継ぐ事もしないし、アニメーターに対する労いもかけてやれない。
労おうにも手段が用意されてないし、手段があったとしても本当にアニメーターに還元されるのか分からない。
結局はアニメ会社を保護するためのそう言う制度と、定期的に応援してやらないとアニメ界隈が疲弊していく一方だと言う認識が薄い事。
制度と認識の不在が全ての元凶なんだ。
The music really captures the whole tone of the arc perfectly. It’s a beautiful and touching romance story of the first girl Denji has ever dated.
And then the last ending beats repeat themselves with a sense of dread, reminding everyone watching that “Oh, yea. This is Chainsaw Man. This isn’t gonna end well.”
