just got mine. i love it. best price. I been trying to get into drift RC without spending 100's. i think ill be rocking with LDrc for the foreseeable future lmao as long as they remain inexpensive. definitely going to mod it for sure tho
It does look great definitely🤩 And honestly it's probably not as bad as I made it out to be but it has got very sensitive steering and the minimum gyro setting is well and truly more than I use for rwd drift cars. Was very quick to swap to a esc and DumboRC to experiment a bit and the results are great😉 Thanks Tim!
Yes the company has put a bit of work into the geometry absolutely. I have seen many people have some sort of issue out of the box, not good quality control isn't unheard of though🫤 But yes good to plat around with👌
I just got mine today...never drifted before..so i actually enjoyed driving mine on hard floor and carpet..i did take my front spring off and rebend since right wheel would hit fender...also added a dab of e6000 to prevent my ride height clips from popping out...one dumb thing i did was i broke end off one side mirror thinking it went in side reflecter location..still can't believe i did that...i am interested to see what you do with it..many guys like myself actually like the stock radio...you can probably cut off the gyro from radio and instal a dasmikro v5 gyro...just need adapters to plug in..also surpass 9 gm metal servo fits...Good luck!
Good tip on the ride hight clips, I have one that keeps popping one side out😆 Yes I'm sure many people love it as it is and with a bit of practice it will become much easier, I think it's just because I have been drifting 4wd and rwd rcs for well over 15 years and my OCD spots or feels every little flaw even if it's not really a problem, now I have installed a little esc and the DumboRC radio I'm SUPER happy and really enjoying this car😁 Lots going on at the moment but I'll try and get the next video done soon👍
Thats great you solved your issues using dumbo..not being experienced at all at drifting i have a total of 45 mins and the fun factor from this car is way up there...i did adjust the car pretty much like i wanted..i will probably by that dasmikro v5 since it seems to work very well on other ldrc 1/18 drift cars...but not in a hurry...this is a very cool car imo...thanks for sharing..😊
Thank you as always😁 Yes I have a 1/10 panther rc 4wd converted to rwd and I used to drift against not so beginner drivers without a gyro. I think I got used to the front motor configuration so these new rear motor cars confuse me😅
Quick swap to a dumborc system and a micro brushed esc and it's 10x better😁 Great little servo, no need to swap that, the geometry needed some adjusting but simple to change👌 Not sure when I'll be doing the next video, been booted from our current rental house and it's a mission finding a new place so a bit distracted for a month or two🥵
@@rccrazy Damn mate that sucks more bad luck 😔 It's tough out there with rentals I hope you and your dad have a some luck finding a new one quickly 🤞🤞🤞 Fully understand you will have alot on your plate while going though that. Take care my friend 🤜
I have the previous version but not the v1 and it's finnicky as well with the gyro, but I got used to it for what it is. You're right about putting a better gyro in there, though. I've seen it smooth out with a proper drift gyro, but they aren't cheap. It might do just fine with a SkyRC unit though Thanks for showing and not bad driving either!
Yeah it's just too sensitive, if the radio had a little better proportion it would be perfect, it does work as is though with some practice. I have though already installed a DumboRC x6fg rx and with the quite good quality inbuilt gyro on that the car feels 10x better but the spot on proportion inputs help a lot aswell👌 Honestly can't wait to do the next video and show the improvement😁
Yeah I tried on a bunch of surfaces and this was the best, I can drift on it fine normally but the steering and gyro on this car is just too touchy, I have swapped to a dumborc and separate esc now and OMG the difference🤯 Good cars, not so got electronics😕
Honestly if you can get it for the right price and already have a dumborc system or something with a decent gyro it drives amazing, it's all setup well except the electronics are not great.

Awesome video! Keep up the content!
Thank you!
Flat out every day on new content👍
Good video. I agree that it is a very nice-looking car. You would know better about the steering than I would.

Great RC for the prize but they come often with a broken rear right suspension. Got two of them, both with the same problem.

Great Review.Looking at a drift car bit bigger.

It is a different car now😁👌

Thanks for checking the video out mate😎
That has got to be the smallest skidpan I have ever seen!! Might get one of these for myself and repaint it FF style.

Good cars, not so got electronics😕
25% gyro, lowest setting, is the best one in my opinion.
Sadly it's about 20% too much for me😅
Quick esc and radio swap fixed it😉
Thanks Stefan

I just need very good gyro.
The steering is far to touchy/sensitive aswell.
I installed a dumborc radio system and a little 2s esc and it's 10x better now👌
