The roommate agreement is a running gag throughout the series. There are other agreements that pop up later in the series, but I’m not naming those because those would be spoilers. Stephanie is young, and is in the ER. So I am pretty sure that she’s an Internist, and doesn’t make a lot of money-yet. Also I’m pretty sure that Stephanie’s ‘Sheldon-ectomey” is a violation of the Hippocratic Oath.
@@chaimalekkam4233 no dude people who go into research arent awarded a lot of money .... unless they have a breakthrough ,their salaries are pretty low .... why dyu think sheldon and leonard share an apartment together .. sheldon even said that he couldnt afford the rent alone
Aaaaaa when Leonard and Stephanie talk about their feelings on the couch I hid my face out of second hand nervousness Great video, I enjoyed your reactions
Thank you Nikkia (Hope I wrote your name right). 10:11 - 100% she is! 😂👍 Why do you think she got all her things in Leonard's room like she did, I mean: Clothes, sure, but a picture of her own family members without even asking him? That is a desperate and insecure woman trying to anchor herself into Leonard's life without him noticing (A less emotionally stunted guy would have clued in and said something already, but not our Lenny. lol!); and her breaking down about how she has lived through "The Talk" and how she is "Dying inside" is both confirmation of her personal defect and of her emotional manipulation of Leonard (Not to mention her sexual manipulation of him: She's using both positive and negative reinforcement on him). So, yes: Leonard is puke poor with confrontations (Why do you think he endures Sheldon`s exentricities so much more than anyone else on Earth! lol!) and Stephanie recognized it early on; and her easy manipulations of Sheldon also shows that she pretty much has Leonard's whole circle of friends figured out (Not that it is much of a challenge for anyone, admitably, but let's give her credit on being an intelligent person still) and it also explains why she has that nervous reaction when Penny shows up as, A) She knows nothing about her and therefore cannot manipulate her as she does Leonard and the others, but also B) She does feel threatened by this stereotypically gorgeous blond.... In her underwear! Yes, she does control herself (To a degree) but I do think she tipped her hand with that nervous laugh. These characters are very well constructed, phychologically speaking, especially for a sitcom, most of which usually bend characters' personalities to fit narratives and jokes even at then expense of continuity and growth.
I feel for Leonard in this one. Yes, he gets a lot of sex, but her tactic of derailing whatever he is trying to say to get her own way, particularly using sex as a tool, is really messed up. And heaven forbid we consider a hypothetical gender role reversal where a guy would try this tactic - try to put a laugh track over that. And his conversation with Penny in the laundry room was low-key depressing when you consider his view on how much say he is allowed in HIS OWN relationship. And Penny's glib "You would be the last to know" is hilarious until you consider how little Stephanie appears to value Leonard's opinion of her taking over his room. A bit too much take in this relationship - not nearly enough give.
This is her last episode right? Per pod meets world, this was due to money. If she had another episode, she would have to be a reoccurring character so I believe that's why she wasn't brought back after this
It's weird watching a "progressive" liberal react sometimes I agree other times I hear nonsense that makes no sense and yell at the rediculousness it's so funny
Have you considered reacting to some Jordan Peterson, he touches on alot of things that relate to those episode and others such as depression and confidence.
"who rasied Leonard?"
Me: ooooh boy...can't wait for that episode :')
That made me think of the Creedence Clearwater Revial song "Bad Moon Rising"
With all the questions about Leonards childhood - I’m excited to see you react to episode 15! 😅
I died when you hinted to the sarcasm in your voice , you just know there might be a few sheldon's watching lol
Everything about Leonard will make more sense once you meet his mom....

And Sheldon and Leonard are also doctors, well established in their field in one of the top physics department, they're definitely making a lot

I think Stephanie is a surgical resident (surgeon) according to The Big Bang Wiki.
15:56 "Who raised him?"
- Yeah. You don't know it yet, but you're asking exactly the right question here :D
Oh-wait until you meet Beverly Hoffsteder.
Leonard: where's my batsignal?
Me: hey don't look at me i bought mine at comic con
Who raised him?
Oh man, just you wait.
Mwa hahaha

Eric the roommate agreement is actually available at Amazon.
I have a cousin who's a lot like Penny. She's fun.
we are not living together 😂. You would be the last to know about it 😂😂😂
I think the sex was an adequate time. It lasted a whole wash cycle. An average wash cycle is between 50 to an hour
we need like 2 of these a week. these are awesome.
The whistle in the ear i looked up is a thing called tinnitus.
The next episode is one of the most famous.
"Who raised him?" Boy wait until you meet her, she'll suck the self-esteem right out of you

She straight up gaslights him when he tries to have a serious conversation.
@@eddiecactus1085 how is that gaslighting? Manipulative, sure, but not gaslighting
a new episode on my birthday ty
Happy birthday! :)
I love the effect that Leonard’s girlfriend has on Sheldon and can put him in his place.

Oh, Stephanie was totally was manipulating Leonard, kind of sad.
Welcome Nakia 😁

Just wait until the last episode of Season 2 for the greatest Sheldon Knock ever!
Hi Nakia!
I already finished the season
Stephanie was ever hotter than Bernadette 🤯❤ and bigger 😳
Not really an important question but... in what world is that underwear?
Oh you naive you.
Can't see the obvious manipulation.
