- How to make a tasty vegan substitute for meat
Recipe and Ingredients
Mix:
2 cups Vital wheat gluten
1/2 cup Nutritional yeast
2 tsp granulated garlic
Add
1 cup vegetable broth
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
knead into an elastic consistency, form into two loaves and place
1/2 an onion, finely diced and
2 cloves of garlic, finely diced into a saucepan,
add 4 more cups of veggie broth and
enough water to cover the loaves
Bring to a boil then simmer on low for 35-40 minutes.
Cool and use as meat replacement. It tastes a lot like turkey or chicken.
