      I've always believed Nclex is not all about studying, you need God's grace to pass

      @Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help

    Girl, Go out side to collect your self? You'd have to scrape the many fragment parts of me off the wall first. Cuz at that point I would just experience some form of rapid disassembly.

    One night on shift in an ICU, it was low census and boring. Me and another nurse in my wing with mostly empty beds and a few in stepdown.... we kept hearinga weird noise behind where I was sitting and no patients were there but it was a clear sound occasionally, irregularly. We couldn't figure out what it was, but after some time, I finally realized why it sounded so familiar and what it was. I told her, "I figured it out!!! I know what it is!!!" It is the sound of a patient trying to speak around an E.T. tube." Endotracheal tubes have a balloon cuff at the end above the vocal chords and if a patient tries to speak around that, there is a very distinct sound. She said, "OMG, that's what it is. That's exactly what it is." I said, "I'm gonna go down and smoke a cig, be back in a minute." She said, "The fuck you are! You don't tell me that and leave me!!! You sit your ass right here with me until someone else is here!" And that was that.

    I think you are a nurse and shouldn't get freaked out over little things. You obviously haven't been a nurse that long

      Even seasoned Healthcare workers, MEs, etc get freaked out sometimes. Knowing logically that this is normal doesn't take away that it's creepy.

      Then they're in the wrong line of work. What happens in a crisis situation? Freak out?

      @@jaymass1178 I didn't say anything about a crisis, nor did this video.
      It's about experiences with deceased patients.

      If that freaks you out, you are not going to be good in a crisis situation.

      @jaymass1178 LOL okay.
      I do stellar in emergency situations. A corpse moving is freaky, even with my understanding of the rigor process.
      Just stop. Go find some peace or happiness or a hobby. Touch some grass, man.
