If you havent try to fim cut i just started running my own test on three red pepper plants and three orange habaneros. I topped one fimmed one and have one as a control. The fim is currently making small monsters in both tests.

I did this with my orange habanero last year. Got 8 branches, but I didn’t get fully ripened pods, as it was getting cold outside already.
How long does topping the peppers delay the harvest date ?
It varies. If you do it when they are only weeks old, I don't think it delays them much. If the plant is more mature and you cut off a lot, it could delay it a few weeks. I used to have problems with pods not ripening during the season, and I wonder if better nutrition would help.

It has some benefit but overall I don't think it's worth it.

There's no better compliment you could give me than to tell me my songs are catchy! I've never worked in any of those industries, but I have been writing songs since an early age. On second thought, I guess my work developing websites for brands like Herbal Essences was advertising, though. 😀🌶🎵
